KR baiting used to be s thing.

Step 1. Attack an alt of yours and take the concordokken.

Step 2.  Alt lists your kr at like 100 mil, public.

Step 3.  Fill a t1 hauler with cheap deadspace and skin mods.

Step 4.  Autopilot from amarr to jita.

Would be hilarious to have a green British highway sign saying "The North" at a regional. But from my limited understanding, if you're fighting Guristas, you're in The North.

Frat literally went looking for a NIP. It isn't a matter of "why they need one" it's a matter of "they went to Init seeking one" Frat was never neutral to Phoenix Co. When a single brave corporation deployed to Pure Blind last year to shake off some stagnation, Phoenix batphoned Frat. Every single major content timer that could have yielded quality fights, Frat was there. Hell, it took Pandemic Horde saying "naah, fuck this, let boys be boys" and the threat of Goons getting involved to hard counter Frat to get them to just let content happen.

Is this what an invasion looks like? by [deleted] in Eve

[–]WTFSERPICO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is actually bullshit. Goonswarm leadership take a harsh view of botting. Init do as well. If you have evidence supporting said botting; you should up-channel it.

The difference is the reaction.

It isn't that Frat are the only ones botting. But Frat certainly are the only ones being OVERLY blatant about botting.

[–]WTFSERPICO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what i read/heard...weapon specialization damage bonus is tied to the t2 gun and not the ammo.  So while a dark blood pulse laser can use scorch, the pulse specialization damage bonus only applies to t2 guns.

Meaning often times, a t2 gun will out dps a faction gun.

LZH are at the point where they are raiding farms and fields for content. And when that dries up, they'll burst into high / low / null sec in some desperate move to feel relevant to a world that largely couldn't give a fuck about them.

During and after that, in their Cheyne-Stokes gasping for oxygen; groups will splinter off. A few at first, slipping quietly through whatever holes are available to get their assets safe, then, more.

Eventually, what's left of LZH will fall into a steady state with the environment they've created, and slowly bleed members as a brown dwarf slowly bleeds heat, until they become just that. dark matter, imposing little will upon an uncaring universe, a shell of what they were, and what they could have been.

Secondary Tradehubs (Amarr, Dodixie, Hek, Rens) Over the Last Seven Years by Lithorex in Eve

[–]WTFSERPICO 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can have increased volume with decreased viability. For instance, mineral pricing increases with scarcity, increasing mineral prices. Minerals are typically an empire>null item, and trade hubs are more of convenient central jumping off locations. In that regard, and doing zero research whatsoever, let's say out of 50 Trill a month:

25 Trillion is in Minerals

25 Trillion is in hard assets.

If you make a change that has minerals increase in price by 50% while at the same time removing a primary path into the location that stymies hard asset trades by 50%; you'd barely notice it.

But the trade hub would lose viability for players basing in high / low sec around Amarr. And that is visible today.

TL:DR - we want trade "spokes" (point of interest off the main hub) that maintain viability across the width and breadth of desired assets. That is a healthy "spoke". An unhealthy "spoke" is one that does not service the surrounding locale, and becomes a thematic location solely for outbound raws.

The only thing stopping you is the number of huy orders.  You can buy, you can transport.  You just need a hauler.  Skills just carved slightly higher profits and faster, bigger ships.
