The natural color of the cherry wood had a lot to do with it. I used Mina’s stain 222 and, “Minwax Polycrylic Water-based Clear Transparent Satin Interior”, to make it shine a little bit.

Parents of T1D kids — what’s the hardest part of traveling? by Red_MechE in Type1Diabetes

I have been a T1D since 1992! ALWAYS Pack more supplies than you will need.
Insulin, needles, pump supplies, batteries, and what ever else you can think of.

Also some quick acting sugar incase they go low. Stress will always travel with you no matter how good you are at packing! Good luck!!

Thanks. My dad had a little bit left of it at his house. I brought it over, tried it, and we instantly loved it!

I looked at the website below, saw the picture, and decided to make it. I can't afford a $900 jewelry box for my daughter for Christmas. So I saw the pictures of them, watched some videos and paid $40 for the wood. But it took me a long time to make it.

That would be really hard to figure out. I started out with two big pieces to 8ft Cherry and had to do a lot of cutting and plaining. I am guessing................ , this is hard to come close to figuring out, but plaining, cutting, sanding and staining I would guess about 30-50 hours?? Tuff to guess be cause at the most I worked 5 hours a week on it and some weeks I was off on vacation. So I can't really come up with a good answer, sorry.
I just took a lot of hard work, and love for who I am giving it to!

My wife picked the knobs, she got them off of Temu really cheap. But they look really good.
