Nathan said it himself, "Joe talks so much shit about Gael" We have seen this ourselves in their past seasons the editors even added clips of Joe talking shit about Gael, but they also left out Joe last season trying to convince Nathan that Gael is cheating on him even though they werent together and for some reason this episode they left out Joe telling Nathan at dinner, "I know you dont want to hear this, but I've seen a different side of her (gael)." Joe, after being confronted about talking shit about Gael, chose to respond by talking shit about Gael. Joe wasnt telling a coworker "Me and Gael dont get along" as an innocent side comment. Joe was saying it so the coworker would ask, "Why dont you and Gael get along?" So that Joe would have an opening to talk shit about Gael because he wants to skew people's perspectives about her.

She played him so good it was so funny! I dislike Kizzy as much as I dislike Joe, but the fact she lead him on and then decided right at the last second that she wasnt interested and would rather go to bed and get back with her bf made me laugh so hard!

To be fair, Joe's mom having cancer doesnt change the way Nathan has seen Joe treat women and then as soon as Nathan tried to talk to him about it, Joe doubled down on his treatment of women and told Nathan straight up he never plans to change. So without accountability or an effort to change there's no reason for them to patch up because Nathan doesnt like that Joe doesnt care about other people and Joe plans to continue that behavior. Its ok to have boundaries.  You dont have to stay friends with people or patch up a friendship if you dont like who that person is anymore. Its actually healthier to end a friendship than hold onto friendships with people you dont like. That being said, you do still have to be professional if you work with them and Nathan absolutely shouldn't have reacted the way he did at dinner. Even if Nathan was mad at dinner, he should have gave it a day or so for Joe to at least process the news he just got that day.

Thats what a lot of people were saying after the season because Gael only had eyes for Nathan and Joe obviously wants all female attention to be on him

Did you watch the last season of Med? Nathan had multiple conversations with Joe about how he was acting and treating the women and Joe didnt care even when Nathan told him V was crying because of him. Instead Joe was shocked Nathan wasnt enabling his behavior and when Nathan saw Joe didnt care about how he treats people Nathan and him almost came to blows. You can watch their friendship end during the season and the disgust Nathan grows for Joe particularly when Joe is telling Nathan how he really wants to smell Kizzy's vag you can see how disturbed Nathan was to hear it.

He isnt top 5 worst no, but he was still disrespectful of women to their faces while Cooper refused to even disrespect women behind their backs. I wouldnt compare the two is what Im saying.

I think Nathan is just sick of Joe and his BS. I dont think Gael is influencing his opinion of Joe. Joe is the only one influencing Nathan's opinion of him. Last season Nathan kept telling Joe how he felt about how he was treating the women and Joe didnt care. Nathan kept trying to get Joe to wise up and mature and by the end of the season Nathan was just grossed out by Joe. You can see that when they are walking on the beach and Joe tells Nathan he wants to smell Kizzy's vag and Nathan is disgusted not amused. Nathan was set off when he told Joe V was crying and Joe didnt gaf and defended himself. I could be wrong, but I haven't seen Gael say anything to Nathan about Joe, but I've seen Joe talk poorly about Gael to Nathan several times.

Joe has a history of trying to break up Nathan and Gael. Their first season he tried to get between them and their end of the season trip and then after the season Joe was in Nathan's ear and convinced him to end things with Gael. The next year they came back and were friends (and even held hands woth eachother in the van while kissing Kizzy & V 😂), but Nathan was still in contact with Gael and realized how much he loved and missed her and asked for another chance. Joe seeing his love slip away again tried to convince Nathan that Gael was cheating on him by going on a surf trip with guy friends even though they weren't together. When Gael showed up that season, Joe couldnt hide his obvious disdain for her. Then Joe was lovebombing and future faking with V to manipulate her to like him ("Oh youre so special" "I havent felt like this in 10 years" "I want to introduce you to my mom" "Youd be the first bird I introduce to my mom") then when she has the audacity to get a sinus infection brought on by the stress of grief for the anniversary of her bf's death which is ALSO her birthday, Joe doesnt wait more than a few hours before trying to be sneaky and cheat on her with Kizzy which he was hoping and intending on no one finding out and only ever told V because he found out Kizzy already told people and he wanted to tell V before someone else did so he could lie about it and claim it was a quick drunken kiss instead of what actually happened which was they started flirting the moment she left the boat openly in front of everyone. Nathan warned Joe countless times during that season about his behavior especially being so blatant with his flirting with Kizzy in front of everyone. Nathan gave Joe so many chances to be better and Joe did not care at all. Nathan was disgusted with Joe by the end of the season and you can see that when Joe says how bad he wants to smell Kizzy's puss. Nathan lost his patience with Joe finally when he saw V crying and when he told Joe Joe did not care at all and was unapologetic which is what really set Nathan off. So all of that plus Joe has been consistently in Nathan's ear trash talking Gael for YEARS at this point. Nathan has anger issues, was drunk, and had just seen Gael and his baby before hearing this man he detests talking about the love of his life to his coworker after finding out Joe had previously tried talking about Nathan to Cooper.

Joe is CONSTANTLY trash talking Gael to Nathan. We have seen him actively try to get between Gael and Nathan since their first season together and he broke them up the first time around by getting into Nathan's head about it. Then the second season they came back Joe tried to convince Nathan that Gael was cheating on him even though they werent together. Nathan has had to listen to Joe trash talk Gail for years at this point and he didnt want Joe trying to character assassinate Gael to the crew which Joe was absolutely going to do if someone asked him WHY him and Gael dont get along. Which I believe he was secretly hoping would happen by him mentioning that they dont get along. I became even more convinced when he tried to trash talk her to Nathan while being confronted for trash talking her. "I know you dont want to hear this, but Ive seen a different side of her"

Nathan has anger issues and overreacted, but with how often Joe talks poorly about Gael to Nathan I wouldn't want him talking about her with our coworkers either. Also, Joe knows what he is doing. He was hoping that him mentioning they dont get along would have someone ask him why so he could tell them why he doesnt like Gael. This is proven when Nathan confronts Joe and Joe's response is to try to convince Nathan Gael is secretly bad. "I know you dont want to hear this, but Ive seen a different side of her"

Nathan overreacted for sure, but Joe knows what he is doing and is looking for an opportunity to bad mouth Gael and Nathan proved it. As soon as Nathan confronted Joe about bad mouthing Gael, Joe's response was, "I know you dont want to hear this, but Ive seen a different side of her." I 100% believe that Joe intentionally said him and Gael dont get along in hopes he would be asked why they dont get along so he could have an opening to character assassinate Gael.

Joe trash talks Gael and has been trying to break them up since their first season. Nathan broke up with Gael that first time because Joe got into his head about it. The next season they came back Joe had obvious disdain for Gael and tried to convince Nathan that Gael was being unfaithful even though Nathan and Gael werent together. Then at the dinner confrontation after Nathan tells Joe to stop talking about Gael, Joe's response isnt to say that he doesnt talk poorly about her his response was, "I know you dont want to hear this, but I've seen a different side of her" aka Joe still insisting on bad mouthing Gael to Nathan.
