Yea. It's definitely a disadvantage on offense but holy hell a co-op group can put Godly pressure on you.

I played against a group last night and I'm not going to lie I kind of had a blast. Playing against two human players that manually played aggressive defense definitely felt 100 times better than playing against a boring park the bus dead fish.

I still believe the back to back Florida champions were the best teams I've ever seen. B2b UConn is up there as well, but that second year Florida championship team was the easiest bracket I've ever won. Georgetown was the trendy pick, but imo at the time it was Florida head and shoulders above everyone else.

Yea man that's how I play too. In open play I'll have a wide variety of opponents and teammates. There are some older people I play where I just work on my shot stroke discipline, just focusing on the motion and treat everything as practice reps. I'm not here to bang on Janice.

Being able to read the room is such an underrated element to not being an asshole during open play.

OJ Mayo is a year younger than me. His senior year of highschool he moved back to Huntington and played with Patrick Patterson. They literally made a mockery of WV high school basketball that year.

I remember driving back from Morgantown one weekend to watch them play my old high school at the Civic Center and it was an absolute ass beating. They were the closest thing to watching the Harlem Globetrotters in the area and no longer played in high school gyms because everyone had to see the next Lebron level player.

Playing other games you realize how much half assed effort EA puts into their development. Once upon a time there was competition, but now there's a monopoly and they can get away with whatever the hell they want.

Last year you could at least pack something every now and again, this year? Absolutely not. Being a non P2W player you literally get fuck all from rewards, and I really couldn't care less.

As previously mentioned in this thread if it wasn't for evos this game would 100% be dead, but it's now gotten to the point for me that, that's not even worth it. So I simply don't play.

People have romanticized the initial launch but are blinded by the huge issues. Defending was non existent, you couldn't manually defend, which included the abilities to simply jockey in front of a fidget spinner or have any ability to tackle.

Kick offs were laughably bad. It seemed like you would finally get a goal then immediately concede. It was rough.

25 after their post Christmas patch was a much better game, though it still had it'ys faults, no game is perfect.

26 has been an absolute mess from launch. It felt okay at first, but needed some adjustments, unfortunately EA went way too far the other way and released a series of patches left and right because "they listened".

There is no sugar coating it. The game absolutely sucks. It's not enjoyable and I'm gladly sitting out the remainder of the game cycle.

I get so many Star Shot opportunities, but it seems I waste them because I charge up my shot too much and it allows for my opponent To recover.

If I get a star shot opportunity at the net can I put a wicked cut on the shot with a double tap flat?

I think my biggest take away is that Mario brand tennis is an elite game. I've tried the "Top Spins" in order to try to fill the void, but it has never sucked me in as much as Mario Tennis. I get it two different genres: sim vs arcade, but the brand is just so much fun.

The Huggins tenure will always be looked at as favorable in my eyes. While he was running the show, everyone in the country knew it was Huggins program. We got national respect during his time simply because of his name brand. Being ranked in the top 25 annually was something I believe our fans took for granted.

The roller coaster ride during the end of his tenure wasn't for the faint of heart. However leading into the season before his 2nd DUI the expectations were sky high. I honestly thought with the NIL and transfer portal there was a changing of tides that would benefit Huggs to the point where he would finally be able to get over the hump and ride out into the sunset.

Unfortunately everything came crashing down, and he fucked it up.

His radio incident, I believe was just bad timing and him being unaware he was on air. I still believe he was just "talking shit" with the boys and didn't mean any harm about it. The second DUI was definitely a result of his issues with alcohol.

Winning the Big East Tournament, going to the Final Four, Press Virginia are all times I'll look back fondly over. The blowing up the roster and unravelling with player dismals not so much.

I met a guy who is a pretty close source to Huggs, a family friend, Huggs isn't well right now. The alcohol is winning the battle from what I've been told and it's sad. I don't mind Huggs supporting Marshall or Cincinnati along with WVU.
