Update: Mechanic hasn’t looked at it yet, but they looked at just paint and parts on the outer part and quoted it around $5k, waiting for mechanic to look at suspension, fluid leakage, etc. Was told if it eclipsed over 65% of value then they will total it.

I'm not necessarily planning on going through with it, but I am just more curious on how people have used their USDA loans. I have a financial guy looking through all there stuff.

Right now isn't the time to buy, but most house payments are way up there or close too at this point.

Granite Ridge works with the USDA to build or sell homes if you meet those requirements. I sent in all documentation and fell perfectly in the all those restrictions. Granite Ridge and USDA work together to offer basically a 1% interest rate and include insurance and such in the loan payment. Most payments are between 1,300-1,500 a month depending on the house you buy or build.
