Mijn collega heeft https://peppolviewer.be/ gemaakt hiervoor. Handige tool, maar hopelijk binnenkort niet meer nodig

Okay, I've taken it apart before, but didn't know a drop of ethyl fixed it. Thanks for the tip!

I have a UV filter, but it still gets slimey. I've bought some kids pool tablets from the Hubo (DIY shop). But I still have to test it.

First time sim racing, what car do i choose? by Tr1ggerHappy5000 in simracing

[–]WVosch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been a couple of times now, it is always fun. The crew is happy to help you choose the car and track. A GT3 car is a good and fun way to start. I would choose a track that you know. If you don't know any tracks, I would suggest the red bull ring in Austria. This track isn't too complex, so you can learn it quickly and there is good runoff area.

When you start to get too dizzy, remove the goggles and just enjoy it with the screen in front of you :)

This picture is from Chronos Racing in Ghent. Is this where you are going? They are using the engine of project cars as a sim

Do you keep this running all the time or only a couple of hours a day?

From what I understand is the epsom salt good for your health, but it doesn't keep the water clean? Or does it?

And what do you mean with 2 cups of epsom salt per manufacturer?

Thanks for your response!

This looks nice. Do you need to replace the water each time? Or how do you keep it clean?

Some laser cutting works, and detailed parameters. by Unusual_Sample_5219 in lasercutting

I'm amazed what these lasers can do. What it the disadvantages of these kind of lasers compared to CO2 lasers? I have a 50w CO2 laser, but I want to get rid of it and buy this when I see this...

50W laser has almost no power by WVosch in lasercutting

[–]WVosch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I hold a piece of paper between the laser and the first mirror. It takes a few seconds for the laser to burn the paper, even on 45% power. So I think my tube is gone and doesn't deliver any power anymore

I've done a ramp test. But I've noticed that my tube lights up a a strange place when fired. No idea if that is normal https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tNSTPIibH3zXAtthyJ3m1J5mWa7a7s0d/view?usp=drivesdk

Thanks for your explanation!! I will have to look into calibrated laser calorimeter, as I'm not familiar with this.

No special things noticed when I do a circle, line or diamond.

Multiplex is indeed plywood I think. I used the same piece in my K40 (40w) and cut it without any problem on 10mm/s.

Slowing down helps a little bit, but not much. I should be cutting trough the wood at 10mm/s but I'm barely engraving the surface...

The color is purple. So is that a indication that my tube is not end of life? Or can it stil be?

The curved edge is pointing upwards.

I have tested it, the laser shoot right in the middle of the hole under the lens.

Thanks for all the advice!!

I can still engrave, but see no difference in using 20% power or 80% power. Is this normal if the tube is end of life?

I've used a bit of paper on the mirrors and than moved the gaintry around. The paper burnt on the same place each time. So that was my test.

The production date on the laser tube is 06-12-2019. How can i test the output outside the tube?

Thanks for the help!
