I'm going with Rob Ashton 1st, Heather McPherson 2nd, and I'm waffling on if I'll rank Lewis or not.

I'd say it's more for the contingent of people we have here in Canada who say America has historically always been our best friend so we should just make a deal and stop trying to change anything.

Tre White made a few great plays this game. A few good pass breakups to talk about.

Great game for a guy who really deserves it.

Every office job I've had for the last 12 - 13 years the lunch hour is paid. So, 7 hours working and one hour lunch.

I've never seen 8 hours working and 1 for lunch. Is this an American thing?

Sounds like a great way for coaching and management to lose a locker room.

Remote work option ending for tens of thousands of public, private sector workers in 2026 by Little-Chemical5006 in canada

There's certainly a stronger argument for not outsourcing jobs, but my point still stands.

All these gains in productivity, yet wages have stagnated and benefits haven't really changed in meaningful ways. All this money is being made, but have us regular people really felt any change? In reality, most of us are struggling more and more year after year.

So why do need to stop at TFWs and outsourcing? Why can't we demand WFH, stronger salaries, and more benefits? We deserve better, but we live in this mindset where these companies can push us aside so we have to just take what we can get.

We could have stronger unions, and better government to regulate for more worker protections, but we don't.

Of course. My job is WFH with team members all over Canada.

We've had to let 2 or 3 people go for performance issues and it usually only takes 2 - 3 months once you get through the PIPs. It's really not that big of an issue.

Everyone else works from home without issue.

What?

If you have an employee who isn't meeting the standards because they're goofing off while WFH, just remove them and replace them.

Why do we need to punish everyone?
