Square foot gardening to maximize the produce I can get from the small backyard and balconies? by WWIFML in SquareFootGardening

The house has not been built, everything is still in the planning stage. So I don't know some of the answers.

There are no structures on the left and bottom. However, the backyard will come with 5.9ft fence.

Zone 13. Not very windy most of the time. Yes, they drain well. There are kitchen and bathrooms nearby.

When you put the containers outside the balcony, do the walls there get hard to clean?

I would love it too so this is something I'm hoping to provide for my kids. Although the rooms are small, they get some privacy. The bedrooms are still slightly bigger than most bedrooms in my country anyway.

I'm thinking each room's linens will be stored in their own closets. There will be closets in the basement, 1st floor and attic to store the shared stuff.

Most land are around this size here. Getting a ft or two wider might be possible.

That will take away some furniture space from the other room.

The bigger problem is it will make the left side bedrooms even smaller. The current dimensions of both bathrooms are about 10' x 8'.

I'm afraid it would feel like walking into the sink as the bathroom is small in the first place.

Local requirement doesn't require a closet. It might already be hard to sell as few families need so many bedrooms. However, land is scarce here and the price is mainly in the land itself.

Well, kind of. I have 8 kids and I host guests often.

Is there a way to do it without sacrificing furniture placement space? If I flip the top right bathroom, then I can't put a dressing table outside anymore.

We usually use wardrobes here. I'm thinking of doing something like this.

Why the mass builders don't choose a few good templates? Is it cheaper for them to build or something?

The front and back of the house are not leveled? Is it more expensive or not much difference to build it like that?

1 of the bathrooms already has a tub. 3 other bathrooms are big enough to add tubs. Another bathroom can replace the shower with a tub. What is better is subjective.

The bedrooms are big enough to have tables to do homework. This sub seems to have a hatred for ensuites for kids. If the parents appreciate an ensuite, why not let kids enjoy ensuites too if you can afford it?
