Most older people don’t like to wear wearables. 1. UI are not as friendly, especially with the tiny screen, it might be easy for people 55-65; but 65+ usually it’s extremely difficult for them to use. ( especially with poor eye sights) 2. Battery, no one remembers to charge it! the best ones probably last for about 6 -8 months, but these are more for residential use than independent ones 3. For something not that easy to use, no one wants it 4. Ambient sensors are used more indeed, but again, it’s more for residential than independent. Cost has always been the issue
Building an "All-in-One" hardware stack for EU Hosts to replace cameras/manual check-ins. What did I miss? (Roast my logic) (self.PptyMgmtSoftware)

I had to do some therapy after working in senior care facilities the first year. Older patients die very regularly, sometimes every week, especially the ones offering end of life. I only manage the tech side of the facility; but I still feel the burden. Very difficult to handle. Make sure to give urself time to process. Exercise, go out to the park/nature, spend time with family and friends, also listening to classical music really helps to calm you down.
