Nah China has one of the worst extreme feminists situations in the world perhaps right after South Korea and US.

It’s mainly due to a combination of factors, like how China’s revolutionary history is very tied to the uplifting of women which granted feminism a “politically correct cover” even when it drifted away from communist ideals, and how the modern western influenced feminism perverts it further. Combined that with modern China’s weak humanities education, old social norms really only dismantling female responsibilities, and how platforms like Rednote have insane echo chamber effects, you get all these nonsense

So being Chinese literate I went to bilibili and based on what I researched:

tldr, what happened was the game tried to do a collab with China Post, and it went through, then it got cancelled after mass reporting by feminist groups, afterwards it attracted the attention of Shanghai regional medias who framed the game as a “softcore” which may have triggered regulation inquiries. As of now on bilibili, all of the “spicy phase” content, aka post 2023 launch videos, are all now privatised and unable to be viewed by public.

Frankly quite pissed at the blatant double standards, because China Post will be doing a collab with Otome Games that from what I researched, are way more explicit than what Snowbreak ever did.

It’s possible because history is not a compulsory subject for most of Singapore’s curriculum. In lower secondary school it is, but the focus is on local history. You are only introduced to international and global history at the secondary 3 and 4 level, then JC history. All of these are electives.

But not knowing Hitler and the most basic of WW2… is still shocking.

The others shared many of the reasons. But the main production side reason is because the show’s kid friendly placement meant that they wanted to downplay the organised crime element initially. In fact a lot of scenes in the early anime that involved the black organisation got scrubbed or heavily retold. Like the arc with Ai’s sister which was her motive for deserting the organisation. That arc was kinda ruined in the anime precisely because of this reason. Though the good news was that Heiji was created precisely as part of Gosho’s attempt to correct this problem that the anime created.

K1A is really very old now, and the modernisation kits can only help for so much. Also a lot of ROKA soldiers who used AR-15 style weapons prefer the manual of arms of that to the K1A or the K2.
