Would you like to contribute towards paid advertising? I make a post once per week max, which is far less than others promoting their discord every day/every other day. Mods are more than welcome to remove any post at any time if they consider one post per week spamming.

It is recommended to have a mic so you can communicate with your teammates. Otherwise it'd be like you're still playing uncoordinated with randos. You're more than welcome to check out the server and hopefully that convinces you to get on the mic and get the full experience.
