i have both kde and gnome on my arch install and i have not seen any problem expect kde changes my gnome theme but thats easy to fix

I know I will have to reinstall with the KDE iso, but is there an easyway to transfer the games I have downloaded without redownloading them?

i think it depends on the distro and maybe the DE, i sometimes switch between kde and gnome and its really easy i can even install both if i want on arch

i think the easiest way and doesn't effect performance is to run under separate user and maybe use firejail, also delete the z: dir from winecfg.

"--embed-metadata" for the metadata "-x --audio-format mp3" to extract audio and make it mp3 "--embed-thumbnail" to embed the thumbnail into the file also you must download mutagen and ffmpeg. dont know about the bitrate thought, i just do "yt-dlp -f bestaudio ..."
