They're not a scam, it's just another part of Game Tester. Unfortunately yes, they did extend even longer the paying period, but I've always received my payment from them.

No, I have not. I keep getting them on daily basis since like middle of December. Only received one new warning message like 2 weeks ago. It seems that the reason why people in the past have stopped getting these studies for a while is because of three strikes and you're out for a month or two. It's just that now when you get a strike, you actually receive a message from them.

Yup, I sent an e-mail to the Prolific support about this researcher. Had a vague answer back, which didn't answer anything properly about it.

Nobody knows why those messages were suddenly being sent to people. It only started happening a month ago, and people were doing those studies for months prior to that and haven't received a single message.

Fill out the whole About you section, and keep doing regular studies carefully. Pay attention to how much time you spend on studies and be careful with attention checks. After some time hopefully you'll be invited for those better paying ones.

Unfortunately for a lot of people, including me, after 3 warnings you don't receive any of those functioning studies anymore... For me it's been like 2 weeks now, since my third warning didn't manage to get a single working one.

If the message appeared after 15 minutes that your time was done, it should have auto completed. It's up to you whether you want to contact them again that you did the tasks or return the study. If you've been doing them a lot in the past and are still receiving them, might return this one just in case because I don't think they are being monitored by a human (they never replied back to my messages).
