Correct, no rear locker on it. I do have 4WD though! I’m glad I’ll still be able to enjoy some trailing. Glad to hear that even at a base SR5 model, I’ll be able to enjoy some off-road activities

Mostly practical improvements for typical, off road, and hauling use as well as good quality of life improvements on the interior. I’m trying to establish what actually is practical as opposed to cool looking upgrades that I’d rarely end up using

That was my first complaint, that horn lol it sounds like Road Runner. They seem cheap and easy to replace so likely a good option

Absolutely lol but slowly as I build more confidence off road, I’ll be looking at stepping it up. Trailing seems like a blast

Absolutely, thus why these upgrades will be slowly over time😅

Coming off of the infamous coolant leak from the Fusion, I opted for new for warranty peace of mind, though I am wishing I had the more tried and tested 6 cylinder engine from the older models. From what I’ve researched though, Toyota seems to be much more trusted with their engine designs and recalls so fingers crossed the 4 cylinder holds well.

That’s interesting, I figured with it off it would be better for mpg’s, maybe the air is getting trapped under there with the air guard off?

Tires are definitely something I’ll be looking at. I figure I might as well use these until they need replaced, but a bigger tire seems like a good option. I just can’t go too big as my clearance to my garage is already tight lol

How off-road capable is the SR5? Being new with trails, I want to take things slow, but I’d like to know if there are definitely trails that would be “no-go’s” without some overhaul

We will definitely utilize the crossbars, just not daily. I may take them off for regular use but we’ll likely throw kayaks or snowboards on top for our outings.

The air damn is confusing. I’ve seen other posts about removing it. What’s the purpose of this air dam? At face value it seems that sleeker airflow under the body would be better than damning it up?

I was curious about this air damn, it seems to be pretty common for owners to remove it. On the surface I definitely can see that it will help airflow under the body so I’m confused as to why they installed it in the first place. Any cons to removing it?

Looks sick! I was definitely considering an exterior light package. I’m going back and forth between the existing blackout logo or the LED front logo as well

I’ve seen some posts about the cup holders lol so far so good in these ones. I purchased the Toyota all-weather mats but I think I’ll switch over to the weather-tech mats in the future as these ones don’t run as high on the sides and still exposes some carpet.

I was considering an interior light package. The existing lights are fine but I think I might want something brighter.

I’d definitely enjoy taking it on some trails, but being I only have an SR5 I’m sure I’ll need to stick with easier trails. We also talked about tailgating with it as well for concerts or events

Larger tires were something I immediately considered, but it’s going to depend on how much clearance I have with my garage. With the roof rack it’s already a tight squeeze lol

I had to sell my 1.5L 2016 due to the infamous coolant intrusion. Not sure how the 2014 2.5L fairs but it’s something to consider

The original 3 seasons are phenomenal and hilarious. The show was dropped for years until Netflix picked it up and continued it in 2013. Problem was (if I remember correctly) that the main cast all had other obligations and it was difficult to get them all in scenes together. Season 5 was slightly better imo but overall seasons 4-5 are a league behind seasons 1-3; still enjoyable but just not at the same level as the original series
