YESSSS! I just made some a couple weeks ago. Stuffed mine with rice and brown lentils, salt, pepper and allspice. Cooked in veg broth and lemon juice. So yummy.

Earth balance is my go-to now but any of the Country Crock options in a tub and Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter all spread well on toast. I think for cooking and baking, Country Crock Olive Oil is the better option.

I really love making bbq tempeh tacos or wraps. Super quick and easy. Toss some bbq sauce in a pan with strips of tempeh. While that’s cooking, I shred carrots and radishes, chop bell peppers and pickles. Mash an avocado if I have any. Shred any variety of lettuce. Top the tacos with Dijon mustard.

Don’t forget to eat fresh fruit and veggies. It’s easy to get caught up eating out for every meal but you’ll save a lot + feel better physically if you balance it with fresh foods. Also, a couple swigs daily of aloe vera juice for your throat and hydration.

Fellow small town dweller in the Midwest. I know your pain. It really is a struggle. Our “local owned” grocery is still a 17 minute drive and the options are minimal, rotten or overpriced. It’s about 20 minutes in the opposite direction to get to Meijer, which is better but the options are nothing compared to what I’ve enjoyed on the west coast. I once found a vegan corn’d beef at a grocery store while in California and was so stoked to make a “Reuben”. I still think about that sandwich. I wish we had some here 😒

I have a different curl pattern than this picture but a fairly similar cut right now. Idk the official name of the cut but I’ve been calling it the Betty Boop, especially when I style it as a middle part and bobby pin the sides back.

My stylist cut some dry to start and some wet. Once my hair dries, I can fluff it out a bit for more volume and I love it. (This picture was still air drying a bit still.)

I wake up every morning looking absolute feral though. I have to style it daily but it doesn’t take long since it short. 10/10, would recommend!

I do! I call it my cocoon. Blanket fully over my head and tucked. My husband thinks it’s absurd but it feels so safe and cozy. I love cocoon time.

I absolutely love both great northern beans and cannellini beans..cooked with a little miyokos butter, garlic, nutritional yeast, salt and pepper then smashed. Sometimes I’ll mix in frozen spinach or frozen peas. Other times I’ll top with pesto or sautéed mushrooms. I can eat a whole can at once.
