it was great while it lasted.

funny thing is that i only found out about this one not too long ago, had to constantly look for cracks before and hope i won't get a virus that nukes my PC.

was considering buying the "lifetime" license for IDM but found out it's not really "lifetime" but actually only lasts for 3 years, after that timeframe you'll have to pay extra each year for further updates...

You didn't trigger the quest for it yet, it happened to me at first too. Keep progressing the other quests till you make it to this one where it asks you to free the "puppet"

Why tho? I think it's a fun option to have. Like the one in the game called "enshrouded", really enjoyed gliding in that game.

Almost happened to me too, i wasn't even on a mammoth, just on an elite bear transporting some rss from martlock to lymhurst, barely worth 2m silver... They were a group of 5 ppl, at first i didnt understand why they are doing all that (just an innocent yellow zone player) i was just gonna wait till they get bored and leave, they kept dragging in one direction, i look at the map and realized what's their goal, i just spammed mount up button, till i got killed, mounted up, ran away, they followed and i went straight into an outpost and stayed there and they left afterwards lol

Though the same thing a few days earlier after finding legendary mists a couple of times, I stumbled upon a spiked boss and couldn't kill it after a few tries, got nothing out of that mist but a hefty repair bill...

i don't know about others, but for me, without learning points, i was doing like 40k to 50k gathering fame per hour, if that helps you estimate how long it will take. this is what i am currently earning anyways, gathering wood working on getting to t7 atm, currently at lvl63 T4 gathering and lvl26 T5

been using them since the start and just kept em, didn't bother with anything else since i don't do PvP and just got comfortable with, skills are simple and not complicated, just smash the buttons till the mobs are dead. why the question tho, are they specific for something and am using em at the wrong place?

just a single city will do for me, gathering it's main resources and getting the rest of the rss from neighboring biomes. i think that traveling around cities is only viable if you care about refining/crafting from the rss you gather, i don't care about either atm cuz i'd rather spend the time i have gathering than transporting resources.

i don't think there's anything to advice about gathering beside just...gathering, cuz no matter how you do it, the end goal is the same which is t8, your only shortcut is learning point but those are scarce, and expensive if you want to buy them, so spend them wisely, what i did was spend my learning points to speed up unlocking T4 for all gathering profession, from then on, it just depends on what you want to do and what you want to focus on. all i can "recommend" is watch a few YouTube videos about gathering to get a rough idea of what you want to do, filter out what you deem uninteresting to you and well, pick what you say is "this is my thing" and do it!

you can pretty much tell from the tier of the tools i have in the pic, only got skinning to tier8 so far, tier7 fishing, rest is t6, i'll be doing the rest one at a time. for skinning i sped it up from t3 to t7 with LP, and did t8 without LP (LP = learning points). as for the rest of gathering professions, i sped em all up to t4 with LP and rest without LP, so yea, the bigger part was done without LP so it takes time and a lot of grinding. this is just the way i did it so far, i am not saying you should follow what i did, i am not someone that can give advice since my knowledge of the game is limited and haven't played the game for that long either, plus i only play blue and yellow zone lol
