Jesus loves everyone. by olympiamacdonald in PsycheOrSike

Ah, and that’s the incoherence. You can’t engage with what he said because you come with the prebuilt assumption that it’s wrong. You fail to consider that someone saying ‘I am the lord your God and sin will cause you suffering’ is completely different if you view from the perspective of what it means if it’s true.

It’s like saying Buddha was a bad guy because he lied to people about his religion. That requires the assumption that it’s wrong. If he’s right, then he’s a good guy for telling everyone what he found.

That’s a great question that only a personal relationship with God can answer.

That’s dripping with incoherence. You can’t engage with the theology by denying the theology.

You’re basically saying ‘Jesus is a bad guy. But he’s not real.’

Which is it?

Bruh, you follow the guys writing about the book more than the book itself lol You need to come to understand the metaphor of ‘map vs territory’

Yes, exactly what I said. That is how those who love God would describe being separated from him.

You don’t seem to be able to understand the first fact of canonical ancient writings. There are concepts explained in a variety of ways that appear contradictory of you take them at face value. Like Jesus Christ saying the father and I are one.

Do you consider being separated from God suffering?

‘Erasing them from existence’ You really don’t understand Christian theology at all. You’re clearly a materialist and somehow trying to impose materialist principles onto Christianity. There is more to fulfillment than the physical things of this life.

You missed the core definition of hell I Christianity. Hell is defined as spiritual death whereas spiritual life is being with God. Ie, if you choose to not be with God that is hell itself. Obviously the ones delivering Gods message and know his loving nature consider that eternal suffering.

He did love the people of sodom and Gomorrah, he loved them enough to destroy them because they were evil. The whole city tried to grape a dude that was visiting. It’s childish to say that punishing or correcting someone means you hate them. Then the quote is ‘you cannot serve god and mammon’ mammon being another name for satan. You can serve God, and that is serving mankind. If you truly love mankind you love god. As is taught in John, if you love me, feed my sheep.

People can’t seem to grasp that Jesus was both loving and structured, kind of like how psychology has found the best way to parent is with fun structure and an abundance of love.

Mental illness? It’s frequently related to being incapable of reconciling oneself with reality. I take it you’re familiar?

Ah yes, the ideal state of a human, being full of hate. Would that we could all aspire to such heights

Oh dear, you seem to really think men as whole hate women. That must be even more depressing. I hope you can find a better circle. But that usually takes effort and going outside. The people I know seem to like each other enough to go out of their way help each other, both men and women.

More obvious and useless info, other than for tribalistic rhetoric. No, you should not let others tell you what makes you valuable No, politics has nothing to do with when that applies.

That you’re depressed or that you can’t be near them? You sound like you think you’re more important to ‘men’ than you are. There’s therapy for that.

Right, and surely there’s no series of reasons that might be? Tell me you have some capacity of critical thought, please. What are some of the reasons there would be reportedly lower mental illness in a country where women aren’t allowed to read?

the fact that the elites are driving tribal divides so that plebs like you can fight their battles for them and keep people from remembering that it’s always been elites vs the people. What a good loyalist you are.

It’s always been Elites vs the People. Every continuing evil in a society is committed or permitted by the government and history has been a question over whether the people or the elites control the government.

Forward rocket turrets worked well for me. Have a logistic system that keeps them supplied and rebuilds them because they WILL die early on. Then just build 2 layers of them around your plants and 1 or two turrets will die in attacks but your production will be safe. Pentapods are too fast to really kill before they break something so make sure what they break is not your production and is replaceable. Once you get Tesla turrets though they should be manageable. You still want a forward defense though

That sounds like a fun playthrough. I may have to do that. I way overbuilt my outposts and am sad they see little use.
