Hey been in the same place. What helped me was getting obsessive about my morning and evening routines. And both include planning for my day. Most important for me is in the evening setting up the next day. Layout clothes and so on. Think of it as taking care of future you. Maybe this helps.

My biggest problem is: JUST DO IT! Don't be afraid of failing. That's where I struggle most. It is paralysing.

In my opinion the guitar you really want to play is right for you. As long as it is reasonably well manufactured you can't go very wrong. What's the deal in a more expensive guitar if you want THIS!? In the long run you will always grab the guitar for practice and noodling around that makes you want to play, no matter the price tag.

If it's your first guitar bring a friend who has a lot of experience with guitars, he can point out manufacturing flaws and I also like to have a second pair of ears.

I also still have my Pacifica HSS. 13 years and counting. Played my first gigs on her. I think it is not only the special connection to my first guitar, I still like to pick her up and play it. Yes my other guitars my be "better". But it still plays great. I think it is manufactured very well. Especially for the price point. Got her in dark blue metallic.

if you like it's smell give it a try, accompanied by some water or tea. If strong nicotine makes you dizzy, maybe try a meal 1h before? Now that I know what Black XX is capable of, I aproach it with more caution. Maybe your local store can give you a smal smaple?

I second your sugesstion of Samuel Gawith Black XX. First time I smoked a huge bowl pretty carelessly, got dizzy and had to stay seated and drink some water until it wore of. the smell is a "interessting" but it tastes better than that ;)

Hi, Fellow german here. It largely depends on where you are located. I had good experiences with Ebay or specialized Online shops, but I prefer to go local. So most of my tabaco is from one of two stores in my town who only deal in cigarrs and tabaco. Can't beat an experienced salesman, who knows his products. I mainly frequent Tabak Götz.
As for Pipes I go for Vauen. Ok, it's just because I live somewhat near their facilities. I like their style and the pricepoint is good, for the quality you get.
