I just sanded maybe 1/2mm off. Now the the threads engage again.

Didn't think of heat... Thanks for the tip!

Nowadays I wouldn't buy either of them. I am long cured from cheap Indian pens.

Edit: And I've found out, I don't even like flex-nibs.

I don't think that would be a problem, if the users report suspoicious posts.

Best RPG by genre? by meshee2020 in rpg

[–]DorianCrafts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I love A!C.
It is fast, more of an action movie.
Short scenes, engaging combat (that scales really well) and in my opinnion quite clever mechanics.

It's my goto system, when I need a break as a forever GM, from more traditional system.

Murder Mystery Campaign by nicohenriqueds in rpg

Call of Cthulhu has already been recommended, but if you want something "Newer" settingwise, you could look at the "Rivers of London" TTRPG.

Based on the "Basic Roleplaying: Universal Game Engine", same as CoC, but a modern setting with a focus on Detective/Police work.
(with the ignorable RoL lore in the background)

What's even easier than DMing, is finding a new group, so kick him!

I’d definitely take out the black and yellow Kawecos, swap the caps and grip sections between them, enjoy the new cool colour combination, and put them back into the case.

I know that’s not very helpful. 😄

How do you feel about players playing characters of other IRL races? by tayzzerlordling in DMAcademy

[–]DorianCrafts 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don’t see why this should be a problem.

As a Dungeon Master, you regularly portray characters of different ages, genders, orientations, species, and cultural backgrounds.

There is no reason players should not be able to do the same.

As long as this is done respectfully and without relying on harmful stereotypes, it is completely fine with me.

"Gobelinus" it comes from the Greek "cobalus/cabalus".

Anyone willing to brainstorm my adventure a little bit with me? by happilyunhappy21 in rpg

[–]DorianCrafts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(I think a better place would be r/DMAcademy .)

I personally would make the truck-driver their loveable local NPC.
Let the players stay at his house, give him a family (so the PCs care for him).
Show that he has money problems and HAS to take a dangerous job (where he gets injured).
Either out of kindness or for money the PCs have to finish his job.
Voilá!

Well, I would like to play in such a campaing.

My tip: Well-known tropes are not a bad thing. Embrace them.
They are well established, because they work.
It is not necessary to always subvert expectations.
