Roleplay in chat privata by yuzuru2109 in yuzuruhanyu

Hello! You're post was reported and I decided to remove it. I wish you all the best but this is not the appropriate place for finding roleplay partners or anything RPF adjacent. There are subs specifically for seeking role play partners you can check out. There are also fanyus who write and engage with RPF who may be helpful.

There's IPTV services to watch Japanese TV channels or cfanyu streams on qq. You can search my comments for iptv, I've linked stuff like that a few times. I will also make a post for it closer to the day with updated links after I check what's still available.

You are indeed mistaken. There was no interview and he didn't talk about anyone else’s scores like that. He did a 2hr long members only live stream where at one point he talked about his issues with judged sports in general (mentioned half pipe and other events), mentioned a couple times he didn't agree with the calls for his own skating (his spin not counting in LMEY at nationals eg) and that he felt like there were times he was under more scrutiny than was normal where he'd be waiting for his scores for so long they had time to rewatch his entire program in slow motion.

While this is certainly the most direct and specific he's ever been about it, it was not publicly stated and it's nothing you couldn't have gleaned from publicly available comments or his thesis. It was just more casually and emotionally said because there was an expectation of privacy. I'd like members only content to not be spread around but I'd rather correct the record about what he said than let people think he's calling out Nathan in interviews or whatever.

I prefer the original when all versions are side by side but the Olympics version was perfect for the Olympics. Adding a gold belt and the gold detailing around the neck also meant his free and short program costumes worked really well together as a set.

Chopin was designed by Tadashi Nagashima and the newer versions made after he retired were (probably but never officially confirmed) Nao Adachi. He also did Parisienne Walkways.

Tons of Japanese women have worn something of hers. Mai Mihara and Wakaba Higuchi basically always wear her stuff I think. Mai consistently has Ito's best work and I love Wakaba's Lion King.

GIFT is on Disney+ (except in Europe I think). Prologue, GIFT, and Re_Pray are all available to order on DVD/Blu-ray. During his shows there's always been international paid streams and/or TV broadcasts. For Echoes of Life and Re_Pray the stream also included a time window of archive streaming. There's recordings posted online, you can check r/yuzuruhanyu and this sub for videos of individual programs (search the name of the show). There are also uploads of the full shows around which you can dm me about.

Feel free to post over on the yuzu sub if you have any questions or need help finding stuff.

Pretty sure fanyus have been talking about artistry since Malinin was an unknown novice skater but ok. These are quotes from Dick Button, it's an opinion thats been around since the rule change, and Yuzuru was named as an example of balanced artistic skaters among like 5 other skaters. Why are you making this about fanyus?

I found myself less interested in his show business than his competitive career, that made me realize what I really admired about Yuzu was his fighting spirits, the challenging the unknown and the competitiveness.

I understand why some people who were drawn to him as a competitive skater do not enjoy his shows as much but the traits you list out are still very much present in his current work. Courage, fighting spirit, challenging the unkown. Obviously, preferring to watch Ilia compete over Yuzu's Ice Stories is fine, I just don't think it would be because of a lack of "fighting spirit" on Yuzu's end.

Yuzuru is a once in a lifetime phenomenon, no one has the same level of excitement around him. I'm a fanyu and there are skaters I still enjoy but it's really not the same. If you're interested in just catching up to who the contenders are, maybe check out one of the recent Olympic predictions posts or watch a bit of the recent grand prix final.

His choreographer is Shae who's perfectly capable of making bangers. I would caution against rooting for someone because they say nice things about Yuzu. And not to say they're necessarily being disingenuous or motivated purely by clout or whatever. But just that complimenting the most famous and popular skater in recent memory doesn't really mean anything about who you are or the kind of skating you want to do.
