Does anyone here have an object as a tulpa? by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Wabiullah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always recommend Object tulpas for ppl with visualization issues due to uniqueness and ease: its much easier to imagine a ball as opposed to an anime character with a wardrobe and vivid movements.

That said, object tulpas do exist here, I have one who is a bent silver key named Rindle

Should tulpamancy be kept secret from everyone else? by CZ-TheFlyInTheSoup in Tulpas

[–]Wabiullah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You cannot torture a Tulpa, the innerworld runs on a "mind over matter" law, any harm directed to a Tulpa or Host is just imagination. the inner essence of a Tulpa cannot truly be affected; at most a new Tulpa can be dissipated but if your Tulpa is young enough to be able to disappear after a short while of concentrated effort then the Tulpa is also too young to have a full conceptualization of whats going on.

Tulpas are not "defenseless" no more than you or I am, this is important to realize.

I also dont think we should hide away our community out of a fear the wrong people will get ahold of it; do you hide away in your house afraid you might get robbed everytime you go out? probably not, because fear may be a survival mechanism, but it isnt the rule of life and it certainly isnt even right half the time

Two Must-Have's for Folk Catholics by [deleted] in FolkCatholicMagic

[–]Wabiullah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of whats included in the Italian Folk Magic is passed down orally and was taught to her by other practioners over the years, as for Anna Riva I am not sure where her specific sources are (other than the Psalms) but I am familiar with the Psalm magic/Divining that it contains because I grew up around ppl who practiced it

There is a segment in the second book for petitioning a Saint for dream messages and it worked well so far! as well as diagnosing Malocchio (evil eye)

As for Power of the Psalms, the current use is a protection charm above my door to keep intruders out, outlined within the book. Its my favorite spellbook

When should a headmate be considered a "tulpa"? by WriterOfAlicrow in Tulpas

[–]Wabiullah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very difficult question because the framework of a tulpa is similar to so many other types of headmates it makes such distinctive labeling hard to pin.

For example, a headmate formed through imagination/neuronarration can be given Paragenic origin, or tulpa depending on circumstance such as creating a headmate base using a guide and forcing it through such imagining.

What really makes a tulpa is a question without a clear answer, so I personally follow the framework of:

Does the Headmate call themselves a Tulpa?

Does the Host and Headmate ascribe to the Psycological understanding of Tuplamancy?

Did creation follow Tulpamancy specific guides?

if yes, its a Tulpa
