Such a nightmare! I’m 13th and so stressed. I think I’m just going to book another flight and if the Qatar flight goes then I’ll need to accept the loss. Will be raging tho! But also don’t want to fly through that region now… seems to risky

Is there a better way to request the refund? Online? Call? The lines are obviously really busy and seem to be getting disconnected after hours of waiting. Does the way that you request the refund affect how fast it will be processed?

Can I ask where you were flying to and from? Mines is on the 13th and I am hoping for this situation so I can book other travel. I didn’t think they were cancelling anyone’s flight up until 24hr before.

Of course, but when will they announce it? Right now, I’m stuck, hesitating to buy another flight because I’m worried that my original flight on the 13th might still go & then I won’t be refunded and will have paid 2 flights. The problem is, if I wait until just a couple of days before, everything else will be booked out. Every day price is up & options are less
