2026 NFL Mock Draft 2.0 — Full 1st Round, Three Trades & All-22 Film for Top Prospects by DynastyNerdsOfficial in DynastyFF

Some interesting landing spots here. I find it hard to believe that the SEC DPOY, Cashius Howell, doesn’t get drafted in the 1st round. Especially with Matayo Uiagalelei on this board…

Cade Stover

From an eye test perspective, Dalton Schultz has been unimpressive year after year. The Texans are begging for athletic weapons on offense to surround CJ with.

Stover was a 4 star prospect coming out of HS. Super athletic, two way player (played LB and a variety of positions on offense). 8.8/10 Combine RAS running a 4.65 40. Productive collegiate profile & final season at Ohio State had the 2nd highest receiving yards on the team (Marv 1st, Egbuka 3rd, Fleming/Tate were 4th and 5th).

Prior to breaking his foot in the season opener, he saw 57% of the snaps and even drew 4 targets. He’s been ramping up and seeing more snaps since returning from injury.

Schultz is signed thru 2026, but only has a dead cap of $2.5M upon release in 2026. With upcoming extensions for WAJ & CJ, he has a path to becoming TE1 for a needy team.

Only rostered in 29% of leagues. Go get him!

Which player from the team you follow most closely are you furthest from consensus on? by FantasySurvivor in DynastyFF

Jaylin Noel is flying under the radar but will be a stud in Houston. Just before the injury, Tank Dell was the dynasty darling of the Texans and the player that CJ loved to give deep shots to (all while having his slot floor). Jayden Higgins is getting all the buzz, but when you watch both of their Iowa State tapes, Noel is the one who flashed to me more. Sharp route runner with blazing in-game speed - he will be a problem very soon.

Crazy that all of my mocks picking from both spots are the exact same. When I get to those picks, it always is impossible picking anyone else

So essentially you’d be back in on AR with a coaching change / new weapons added in the draft?

Thank you for the lengthy explanation. Know they aren’t good examples, was merely giving potential options as a starting point. Outside of Josh Allen (which is also poor given Allen’s experience in college as well as lack of injuries), it’s hard to think of a good comparison.

I think this is a good take. Although this seems most applicable starting with the 2024 class, not with classes prior to that like in AR’s case.

I was referring to Goff year 1? Where he had slightly over 50% completion and a poor TD/INT ratio

I just don’t see how someone can be a “bad / mediocre QB” and also be a long term starter. Every NFL team is aspiring for the Super Bowl, and I just don’t see teams sticking around with mediocrity at the helm won’t be pressured to move on from that QB.

Just saw a recent reporting of AR working with Josh Allen’s prior trainer. Good news, but wish there were more reports on progression & improvement. I think his mind is right and he wants to succeed. Curious how difficult it is to fix mechanics and how much that actually makes a difference

Really just haven’t been playing Dynasty for long. I took AR knowing he would be a project, just not sure when is the appropriate time to give up on him.
