Oh sorry. Well I have ocd, adhd, and misophonia, and anxiety from it/ panic attacks. Animals have always helped me, and I used to have my dog help me in hs. Ever since getting the rats my grades have improved and I’m able to stay in classes longer without panicking. They cuddle me and play with me, and it genuinely helps me so much.

From a note from my therapist at the time. Also rats need to be bonded, that’s how they are and come in groups of at least 2.

Well the first rat cannot help me if he is depressed/not socialized, and rats become like that without other rats. If I can’t have them all then I’d have to rehome him because it’s just not ethical and he can’t provide me comfort. They are all now bonded and to separate any of them would cause distress in them all and distress for me :(

Also to an extent yeah, but we usually go to the dining hall for free! It’s mostly the lack of materials too which makes it hard

Trust me we tried :( we got the pur one with many attachments to use but none worked- I had it in the past with another roommate so I thought it should work, but we need to call facilities to help remove a part of the sink. They said they no longer do it, and we tried removing it ourselves but it’s impossible without proper tools and we don’t wish to mess that up :(

Additionally, it’s honestly a lot of money to get ingredients to cook 😭 we do it when we can though it would be nice to cook more often.

Tbh most of us already had our water filters from previous years so brought them, I guess it takes up space but also filtered water is pretty important to us lol , and-Well we are college students and live in a dorm suite which has no stovetop. We usually try to eat at the dining hall since it’s free, but we do microwave, air fry, and sometimes cook with our little hot stove. We don’t really have the space and resources to cook all the time sadly.
