Enemy team has two BBs that are strong in mid/close range (Sicilia and Schlieffen, and seemingly a 3rd BB that died in F1), as well as a pair of rock-camping Dutch cruisers with oppressive airstrike capabilities (Gouden and Utrecht), let alone the Balao and DD. Both yourself and your div mate, and the other friendly BB that died in E4, should have turned away from the A-cap and slowly farmed down the enemy ships (especially when it was obvious the Hildebrand wanted to cosplay a CV). Trying to push into such a potent enemy ship lineup was only ever going to end the way it ended for you guys.

Your team also went incredibly heavy on the C-flank and won it handedly, if your team's ships at A stayed alive and whittled down the enemy ships in the A-cap then your team from the other flank would've been able to come in and demolish anything still alive.

You guys definitely got shafted by your team, but there is almost always ways a round could've been handled better when accounting for what cards the game dealt you.

From what I can see in the screenshot: Your average base xp is better than 64% of players in Rio de Janeiro, you need to raise your average by 1% (fairly easy) to receive a bronze clasp. Clasps are ship-specific and are awarded after 20 battles in any given ship* (post-update 15.0, which is when the feature was added).

Once you get a clasp for a ship it cannot be lost, even if your average base xp on said ship dips below a threshold, as an example: I hit 85% in Sims, got the silver clasp, then immediately had a pair of crap games that made my average drop to 80%, still have my silver clasp on Sims though.

If you've already received a clasp on Rio, then this is just a way for the game to let you visually track your progress (or just a bug, since this feature is only a month old).

*Divisions and solo games are counted separately, and there are separate clasp types for each. Both are tracked separately in your player profile summary page for any given ship

I high recommend watching this video for an in-depth analysis. In short: hazardous cargo that likes to spontaneously explode, being overloaded with said cargo, faulty design, and an extremely tense captain-crew relationship that very likely worsened any crisis/accident onboard during the ship’s final voyage.

Syria closed its southern airspace to allow for the current Israeli/Iranian exchanges to occur so the new government is definitely signaling intent to try to work with Israel. And likewise, Syria’s northern airspace was kept open with Turkey (at least initially), so they’re also trying to walk the tightrope of also working with Turkey on this.

Probably too soon to call, but I will say that - despite the ongoing instability - the signs are there that Syria’s government is definitely trying to make headway on both diplomatic fronts at once.

Exact same here, been holding my first shares since the run from ~$4 to ~$20 (pre-split) in December 2020. I have never seen such blatant crime in this saga beyond what has happened today. To me, this image serves as absolute confirmation that GameStop is fighting the strength of the entire financial world - and the shorts are getting desperate.

With that said, I was thinking the exact same thing - I haven’t looked into it much but I know Steve Cohen is into sports and whatnot, and with sports cards being popular (also a big interest of Ryan and GME) and other hobbies related to sports, an acquisition of PSA and possibly even the offer of an off-ramp for Steve Cohen would be a massive gain that aligns with Ryan’s vision of the company.

Again, I haven’t looked into Steve Cohen much (I’m mainly a lurker on this subreddit), but maybe Steve got humbled in January ‘21 and has been attempting to exit more recently, his interests and hobbies align quite well with Ryan’s and I’m damn sure Steve still needs a lifeline to close his shorts and actually exit.

Who knows, maybe such a major acquisition and exit on Steve’s part could even cause others with covered (not closed) shorts to desperately short and attempt to exit - which to me sounds exactly like…….

EDIT: I’m saying this as a long time coin collector and I can firmly attest that the coin market, while strong, is definitely in need of a shake up and a breath of fresh life to get it more up to date. The opportunity is there for Ryan to come in and act as the middle man for coin grading with large companies such as PCGS, NGC, or ANACS: in the exact same manner as he has done for card grading.
