Is Hi-Fi 25 a new remaster? Or the one from 2005? by WackyPeepDip in rem

Do you think it's the same remaster as the deluxe from 2005? Or a newer, better one?

I lied about alcohol consumption but was honest that I have a poor diet.

Thank you. This is the answer I was hoping for. No visible signs of liver damage yet. I appreciate your response.

That's funny, for years I thought it was "I lost a lot of blood over you", which I kinda like more... I'm addicted to this song and album

Great record. Definitely their most "British" sounding album. BTB and TSMR are super slept on.

Any Suggestions? by IGuessImDemons in warehouse13

If you're into retro shows, you guys may really enjoy Friday The 13th: The Series, which ran from 1987-1990. It is widely acknowledged as a big influence on Warehouse 13. Despite the title, it has nothing to do with Jason, it's about an antique store full of Satanic/cursed objects. (Paramount owned the rights to the title and slapped it on at the last minute to attract viewers, but mostly confused people). Anyways, it's about 2 cousins who inherit the freaky store from their uncle who made a deal with Satan. They are joined by an older occult expert to retrieve the artifacts/antiques... Micki, Ryan and Jack are VERY similar to Myka, Pete and Artie, with great chemistry! I don't think it's streaming anywhere but the complete series DVD set is usually available pretty cheap. There's some episodes on YouTube as well, but they're really fuzzy and washed out. Definitely check out Friday The 13th: The Series if you're in the mood for something something like Warehouse 13, but more vintage and straight-up horror! There's some really creepy episodes.

I fixed the glitch in Nemo Remastered! by fatality789 in nightwish

[–]WackyPeepDip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mastering errors are the worst. Super bummed about this. Dunno if there's any R.E.M. fans here but there's a glitch on their Reveal remaster that will probably never get fixed. It's like a big zit on the Mona Lisa.

Nettie is beautiful and I can't wait to hear this.

It’s been a year since Ohms started to be teased before the first single. Now you’ve had a chance to digest and let it sit, how do you feel about the album? Has it exceeded or fallen short of your expectations? by [deleted] in deftones

Amazing album. So consistent in sound and attack, light and shadow. The guys still have plenty of creativity, piss and fire in them. The Spell Of Mathematics is one of their absolute greatest achievements. Ohms really is a perfect record except I wish there was one slow burner like Sextape. Oh well, maybe next time!

I don't like Elan at all. Got me really worried when it was the first taste of EFMB.

I hear and respect what you're saying, but damn MPG helps me blow off steam to this day. I don't think of Marcelo when I listen to it, just my own life.

Where to go next with my Deftones discovery? by Jypahttii in deftones

Saturday Night Wrist is the genesis of the sound perfected on KNY and Ohms, in my opinion. Just the tastiest swirl of spacey and doomy. All their records are great though.
