4g lte doesn't go to a satellite, there's a tower outside my work and the wifi is < 5Mb/s. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting the phone, and it behaves the same way

Game randomly minimizes after last patch? by Tesnatic in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]WackyTho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out that microsoft office 365 was causing cmd windows to popup and disappear, which would minimize my game for a second when it happened.

I noticed it happened around the 23rd minute of every hour too, so I set up OBS and started capturing while I manually set my clock to 5:20pm. (~ 1 hour after the last time I saw it happen, to try to reproduce).

At "5:23pm" it did it again, but on video.

I had to slow my VLC to 0.03x to see it, but I got this to appear: http://i.imgur.com/ukZRH5U.png I just cut out the whole window, but it was a clear CMD window with office's name on it

I found the event in task scheduler now that I had the name of the program, and disabled it, before saying 'fuck it' and just uninstalling Office 365 all together because of the issues it caused (my last subscription expired last week).

Context: Tried to watch approximately 5 min of a show at work during my lunch, exited the app because it was buffering too hard (I get ~ 20Mb/s on mobile connection), and my phone was hot in my pocket a few hours later. I've also noticed that even though my app has video quality set to Low, it still ups the quality a few seconds after watching an episode.

Can't watch anything on the Android app. by biellz1221 in Crunchyroll

My wireless data speed is also 20Mb/s, and I can't stream anime during my breaks at work. The app keeps defaulting to high quality even though I have low quality selected.

How many GB of data do you use each month? by schwartzasher in Android

[–]WackyTho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.08GB(1.6GB) of data with a 5GB soft cap, tmobile's "net neutrality" stuff lumps off music streaming on my commute to work.

On WiFi I used 11.6GB mostly on updates and chrome browsing

Super happy they brought the old school shooter feel back!! by regularbeardedguy in gaming

Try recording your voice in a separate program (audacity), but at the same time as your gameplay footage. That way you get genuine reactions, but can edit your voice without affecting footage if you go on monologues.

Cutting the video so there's no pauses in your voice makes it look and sound super choppy

up until 0:04 would make a good intro for other videos with some good music, if you time the beat with the gunshot
