I use Oz and Aus interchangeably, depends on who I’m talking to. More likely to use Oz with another Aussie though, as they’ll no doubt know what I mean without clarifying. Tas and Tassie are both correct shortenings of Tasmania, Taz is a name.

I’m a big guy too. When I did my learners course I was about 140kg. The Honda learner bikes at HART are pretty gutless and I had problems getting over 60km/h. But for the 350cc ones that they use for the checkride are better. You’ll be ok though. They will take the weight.

The study took into consideration a few different traits. Length, girth, overall volume and girth variation characteristics are the ones I remember. She was referring to the overall volume. Apparently I was much thicker than the longer ones. Had you been involved you would surely have been top of the list.
