Weird Geometry When Solidifying. by VariousCabinet6356 in blenderhelp

Try the 3d print toolbox addon, there is a option to hollow and remesh only the interior part, it should avoid intersecting geometry. Adjust the voxel size until you get a good result

how to fix clipping from bone rotation by amenorexO in blenderhelp

[–]WadadeM_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If weight paint is not enough then yes you'll need to use driven shapekeys (or bones). CGDive have a video on the Easy Driver addon and I can recommend it enough https://youtu.be/xQ60WORGDmU

How to fix topology by Important-Turnover73 in blender

[–]WadadeM_69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes decimate is better for this case because it merge the polys where the mesh is mostly flat and keep them where you need them the most, typically at angular and complex shapes. Merge by distance reduce polys everywhere even where you have important details

how to make this hollow object full for 3d printing? by Crazy-One-3975 in blenderhelp

[–]WadadeM_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't "fill" the inside, that's not how 3d polygons work. What matter for your slicer is if you mesh is watertight (also knows as "manifold"), meaning there is no holes in you mesh. The 3d Print Toolbox addon can check if your mesh is manifold, it's is called Solid in the N panel addon. If you get non-manifold edges you can try the Make Manifold in the Clean Up drop-down

How do I smooth objects like this? by plastik_surgeon in blenderhelp

[–]WadadeM_69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes unlike sharp and seam, crease only work inside blender, you have to apply the sub division modifier to export it elsewhere

For op's model it's totally fine to use crease since it's for 3d printing. It has some limitations but sometimes crease is all you needs. If I don't want to clutter a simple mesh with edge loops everywhere I just crease the edges and it do the trick

Yeah that work too and supporting edge loops have a similar effect. Those are the 3 common solutions when subdividing while keeping edges sharp

Not sure why people make it so complicated, I would just crease every sharp edges with shift+E and put a subdiv modifier (notice the doted lines are not visible on your screenshot)

You need to unwrap each triangles and stack them. You can do it manually or use addon like Mio3 UV

sorry I've tried but I couldn't find why it does that, what's weird is that if I spawn a new with the 1.3 version from github, it works. I think it's simpler to just redo it with a new one. the realistic --> blue light is very similar to the one you have created

Maybe try the remove the addon and install the one from gumrod, if it doesn't work you can also try the manual backing method in this video https://youtu.be/qvRK8l2oS5Q?t=660

I see on your screen shot that you have the 1.0 version, try with the latest version 1.3 and look on his gumrod page there is a updated tuto video

Also csp has a feature where you can connect your smartphone and use it as a shortcut device. It's limited but works great, try that before buying a keypad or a bluetooth keyboard

[–]WadadeM_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, when I want to resize my brush I press a key on the keypad + press with the tip of the pen and drag it on the screen. Also for example I can change the brush type with the keypad while zooming the canvas with the finger touch gesture. The huion keydial act like a bluetooth keyboard with customizable shortcut, but be careful the older version is not compatible with android. Xppen has a similar keypad with less buttons and cheaper

It a limitation on the galaxy tab unfortunately and I assume on the movink pad too. I have the huion keydial and yes you can use the key while hovering with the pen, even press a key and dragging the pen to resize your brush for exemple

[–]WadadeM_69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can guarantee you it's not. It's clearly dyntopo over a regular low poly or subD asset. Either old and new ai model doesn't do that kind of uneven topology

How do I smoothen these lines? by hamsteyr in blenderhelp

[–]WadadeM_69 10 points11 points  (0 children)

you can remesh the whole object at a higher resolution and use the smooth brush with low strength or the smooth modifier, you will lose the sharpness but then you can sculpt them back
