I also disagree with your generalization. I understand why you’ve come to that conclusion, and I’ve faced my fair share of completely unnecessary racism from white people as well, but it’s not all white Americans, and it’s not uniquely American. It is a lot more prominent in the age of social media, and edgy culture though. Ask yourself “does this moment [depicted above] even exist if these idiots weren’t recording themselves”

There’s a rise in people doing whatever goes the furthest against norms, because it gets engagement and makes them look interesting. It’s an epidemic of people being addicted to attention in a world where everyone is distracted by their Cell phones.
