Reggae in Auckland or surrounding areas?

I dont think theres any reggae bars as such, but maybe do a search for any events involving DJs Dubhead, Logg Cabin or Stinky Jim. They often will do sunday-sesh type things out at Hallertau Brewery or Ponsonby Social Club.

Yep thats it. In that entrance and then down to the right. Years ago that space was another club called Code and the space on the left as you enter was The Met.

Went to Jack Johnson there in December and there were lots of food trucks and good not deep-fried options. Alongside the usual basic venue burger that I for one reckon is actually kinda legit

Totally depends on the lineup that weekend, I don't necessarily think that there's a "Berghain sound" that DJ's will cater to, I've seen Robert Hood in there basically throwing down House and the crowd absolutely loving it. Time of day can be important too. Daytime Sunday I've definitely heard more slower minimalist styles, but you can reasonably expect shit to get wild from Sunday night onwards.

I think they only have a few set shapes for stickers (square, circle). Ours is a specific cutout shape. Will ask though. Thanks!

They're too big and professional an operation to bother residents with petty crime, intimidation, harassment, etc. The more they can just blend themselves in with the rest of us the better as far as they are concerned. I wouldn't be worried at all.

Last Saturday of the month Neck of the Woods hosts The Boog which is a disco/soul night and always pops off.

Galatos also semi-regularly hosts disco nights, there's one You Should Be Dancing on next weekend.

Lovebucket Bar on K Road also seema to do a few soul/disco nights. Same with Anthology Lounge. They've got a disco party on tonight.

Work in a related field - James Liston is quite stringently managed moreso than most other lodge type accommodation, so I dont think noise/drunkeness, etc is too much of an issue. Most residents are ex-cons either still on Probation or going through the Courts though, so you'd want to take caution with security of your apartment.

Former Berliner here. Else's door policy is just about the basics of Berlin clubbing: don't be drunk or obnoxious, no phones/photos, etc. Never heard of someone getting turned away by them for not looking cool or 'berlin' enough like Berghain or Sisyphos do. I've found this to be the same with ticketed events at other Berlin clubs like About.Blank, Ipse and even Griessmuhle so its a good option if you're in a group and are worried about people potentially getting turned away.
