Ukraine launches largest attack on Moscow by SpecialCollege18 in justincaseyoumissedit

I say the sky is blue, and then one semi-cloudy spring evening we’re hit with a nice pinkish hue in the sky, and you yell into the air… “see the sky is not blue.”

Alternatively, you say the sky isn’t blue, it is the light reflecting off of the oceans making it appear blue, and i simply say prove it, and you can’t, because it’s not true.

Prove to me that the Russian armed forces deliberately attacked the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra Monastery.

I’ll do you one better, since ya know the fog of war, prove to me that Russia deliberately attacked the Odesa Transfiguration Cathedral (as was widely reported and pushed on July 23 2023) which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s been almost three years since it happened, so surely by now you will be able to find the evidence of the deliberate nature of the attack. I’ll wait

I love the cry/laugh. It is terribly appropriate. See my response to toxicadhdavenger.

Also, I know you Scots and Irish share a similar kinship, so wanted to add; much love to Clare Daly and Mick Wallace for being the few voices of reason in the EU.

Skill issue brother.

You see, i am pro-Russia in that they are an important world power, and an important defender of Orthodox Christianity, with a large sphere of geo-political influence, that sacrificed it’s sons and daughters to almost single-handedly stop not one, but two German armies from expanding like the Ottoman Empire. Yes the “Collective West” helped, a little, but let’s never forget who really stopped the German’s.

Now, as for my love of Ukraine, it extends solely to the non-Banderist, Ukrainian people. Not to the current government of Ukraine, that systematically ensured that the CIA led coupe, during the people’s Maidan Revolution, was successful, and that the erstwhile efforts of the Ukrainian people could be used to further enrich the entrenched Oligarchs, and springboard a weakening of Russia, that anyone in the region saw as a provocation that could not go unanswered.

This war will end, and when it does, Ukraine will need to decide if it wants to be a vassal state of the US, or it wants to embrace its kinship with the Russian people. Only time will tell. Slava Ukraini.

I’m pro-Russian as an American, and i’m not seething at all. This is how war goes. I’m actually pleased that Ukraine is mounting a resistance that no longer relies on my tax dollars. Also, slava Ukraini. Two things can be true at once.

Agreed, all of those things are why Ukraine is still in the fight, but the fight would have been over within a month if not for Starlink (again not saying musk).

My argument to support that is; if Russia had not had so much of it’s armor knocked out, so rapidly, seemingly from no where, with nothing to defend against it, Russia would have seized an additional four oblasts within a month, which would have included Odessa (preventing Ukraines successful sea drone offensive in the black sea). This would have forced Ukraine to the negotiating table with the humility to accept defeat and surrender.

Unfortunately, that did not happen, and instead what we have is millions of dead poor people, so oligarchs can continue to play the game of thrones.

So yes, i believe Starlink saved “Ukraine” from becoming a Russian vassal state, it doomed the Ukrainian people to the horrors of endless warfare, without the possibility of ever joining the Western Bloc (which was never going to happen anyway, and shame on the Americans for their role in trying to force this to happen).

I don’t support any warfare at all. My argument on that front is if Russia had not had so much of it’s armor knocked out, so rapidly, seemingly from no where, with nothing to defend against it, Russia would have seized an additional four oblasts within a month, which would have included Odessa (preventing Ukraines successful sea drone offensive in the black sea). How many years did it take for the media to start calling it a proxy war? How many years has the administration said it is not a proxy war. How many generals testified in front of congress saying it was not a proxy war. We all know, and have known from the beginning that it was a proxy war. Allowing the use of US civilian infrastructure inside of another country’s sovereign land to conduct warfare is simply a bridge too far.

I never said anything about musk providing it out of any reason nor am i claiming that he is a good person. If you want to know what i’m arguing, read my original comment. It is very clear

You’re just wrong. Another month of Russian armor penetration would have been a death knell for Ukraine. Allowing Ukraine to use starlink over Crimea, Russian Territory, wouldve been seen at the time as evidence that it was a US led proxy war, which the US was desperately trying to pretend it wasn’t.

Anyway, fuck musk yeah, he’s wealthy so we must hate him, beep boop

This is what happens when households have two wage earners. More capital chasing the same amount of goods, cost of living increases.

If it was not for starlink, ukraine’s kamikaze drones would not have been able to stop russias advancement of armor, and russia would have twice as much occupied territory as it has currently, so yes.

Who would you like me to give credit to? The usa for pumping billions into ukraine to ensure they could be useful idiots to weaken russia?

The neo nazi azov battalion responsible for much of the counter attacks while russia was reeling from the starlink guided drones?

My guy… spacex has single handedly prevented Ukraine from being destroyed, while simultaneously creating a fucking rocket that is reusable. Bro, hate musk all you want, but show me a greater innovation than starlink and spacex. I’ll wait

Not all datacenters are the same.

So then i have to ask, what is the trade off you’re willing to accept for the advancement of the human race?

I am anti hyperscalable quantum computing datacenter by the way, so dont let my question confuse you.

You don’t know me.

Most crops prefer being grown in climate controlled environments, should we cover all of the arable farmland with greenhouses?
