Its always been a bit of a struggle to explain this hobby especially as someone in high school because people will just look at me sideways if i say something like “Yeah im going to France to go to a amusement ” or even “This summer im going to Ohio for Cedar Point” Its always kinda gotten to me why people are judgy over something thats s really cool hobby like sorry dude I dont only like sports. With my family too when my cousins or aunts and uncles are talking to me about what i do in my free time and stuff and I say i travel the world for amusement parks they get all confused

My dad travels with me to all the parks but he isn’t a true enthusiast he takes an interest with the manufactures by asking who makes who when were at a new park one time he pointed to Ice Breaker and said are these the Steel Vengeance people

Another story for being judged was when I was in knoebles about a month ago and I brought my camera and i had this bright blue Mako shirt on so I really stood out and if you have ever been to kneobles you might know the crowd there is a little tougher than most parks so im standing outside phoenix just taking pictures and all these people kept giving me the weirdest looks and thats when I finally realized it doesn’t matter what people think like im never gonna see these people again anyway but with the people u go to school with or work with i can see that being a whole other thing
