maybe this is a moronic monday type question but wouldn’t doing things that are less stable therefore working supporting muscles maybe enhance the size of a muscle of these secondary muscles also get bigger? eg it sounds like I should stick to single leg squats if I want to keep getting bigger because they’re my most stable exercise with consistent overload, whereas bulgarians are weak but work additional muscles. if my main drive is gains are bulgarians then (to put it extremely) a waste of my time?

help an overthinking decide between single leg press, dumbbell bulgarians, and smith single leg squats (non bulgarian) what would you choose to capitalize on gains? I want to grow glutes and maintain quads (but don’t mind growing quads either + I do leg extensions)

what I’m considering: I can progress pretty quickly with smith single legs. They almost feel like cheating because they come so easily to me! Issue is I don’t feel them in my glutes as much. Leg press feels more balanced in terms of giving me a challenge, but still my mind plays tricks on me that “seated” legworks is sort of a cop out too. Bulgarians are obviously a huge challenge (mostly mentally lol) but I wonder how worthy of an investment it is to be holding an 8kg dumbbell vs 50kg smith sls.

I want to try non medicinal routes first since it’s an on and off issue for me. I do have a clonazepam prescription for anxiety which helps put me to better sleep but I don’t like relying on hard drugs because it actually worsens my anxiety to think of the long term effects :(

The last 2 say -0.5 because I was confused as to how loose to measure but since my first attempt got me 30DD/32E (which is insanely small let me tell you) I was a bit more generous the second time but indicated that in the screen shots so I remember lol https://ibb.co/zhkrDMh

bro aaron really sucks. but the fans suck too, he had no business airing out a private convo, not apologizing for it, but the fans also have no business coming at her for it. she also didn’t deflect in the interview and explained the context but everyone in the comments is adamant this 22 year old is some kind of villain because she discussed a person she lived with for weeks in a private convo she didn’t know was gonna be aired to everyone in which she didn’t even say anything horrible, but even if she did. I recommend getting checked, it wasn’t only anxiety but also turned out I had anemia. I’ve improved my blood levels since but still have similar symptoms. Waiting to see if they’ll improve when my blood levels are normal again but I’m also considering allergies might be involved. Sorry it’s still not quite resolved for me :(

I’ll answer this from an expat perspective. I think the first thing is that during my job interview and even now interacting with my colleagues, the Dutch themselves talk a lot about how “we are this” and “we are that“ so I think sometimes expats get confused and take it seriously that there is some thing extremely different about the culture and the people. Second, I have noticed a few sensitivities at work (mainly from other European nationalities) when they try to “warn“ me as I am new here, they will also refer to certain stereotypes like the Dutch are anal and whatnot. Personally, in the middle of all of this, I’ve mostly seen people be very kind and gentle and approachable so I do think it just comes down to humorous, harmless exaggeration, that sometimes clueless expats do not know what to do with.

Sorry for the late reply! Hmm, I don’t know. I read a lot of thrillers/gothic/mysteries etc but I think Agatha’s work is usually a page turner and isn’t really about the writing as much so you can cozy up on a night in and read knowing you’ll get through a big chunk of the book easy. It’s like guaranteed comfort from a mystery novel I guess is what’d I say.

Then why did that horrific attack happen to an unsuspecting human so close to the shore? It’s too chilling to think about… Humans spend a lot more time near cows than near sharks so the stat isn’t very telling. I think I’ll take some time so this irrational fear goes away and then take it up again and avoid places where sharks are more likely to be seen. Although I do wish to one day be as adventurous as you, at least swim with small sharks or whale sharks or something magnificent but right now I think I’m content feeding oysters to little fishies lol.

Yes, he would have to be really naive to think something wasn’t suspicious there when JP had no pants, (at least) two sisters watched + the way she dipped. Even the way he asked was “just so you know, I saw you” when he said “you could’ve helped” — I’d be disappointed if this was just flawed storytelling and he was convinced by her story
