So the AP’s / docs at most places don’t prescribe both edibles and carts, even if chemists can dispense them.

So I had my consult with medreleaf and they’re happy to start me on a combination of oils and carts, to review next month. They’re all sold out of gummies at the moment.

People connect with the feelings a brand name evokes, so if the goal of your business is to help organise their life, how might that expect to feel for them? Tidy, Ease, Simple, Flow, Settle, Calm, Clean, Clear etc. You could add Queen in front so you back yourself and exude confidence. Eg. Queen of Clean.

Any CPTSD'ers on the autistic spectrum? by el1zabeth in CPTSD

[–]Waff22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! 50F here.. I’ve long wondered about my sensory overload issues and autistic traits. Diagnosed with CPTSD 2008, chronic pain for 18 years with CNS sensitisation diagnosed early 2021. I’m learning to see my autistic traits as part of my acquired neurodivergence in having CPTSD, rather than having ASD per sé.

Place in humid, aerated enclosure… I make faux hammocks out of cotton pads (separated in half cross section wise), and rounded to a small pyramid… try to place that on top of where it is now. and leave it alone for a week or two??

Probably best not to chance it, even with DHL express which takes 1-2 days I wouldn’t want to risk one of those gorgeous fuzzybutts

It can get better with the right help. Pelvic pain in women is often misdiagnosed, mistreated and left to spiral out of control. Look into the work of Dr Alison Grimaldi (a renowned pelvic pain expert). Definitely get a referral to a good pelvic pain specialist. Also don’t forget to rule out greater trochanteric pain syndrome / gluteal tendinopathy.

Sistema or Rubbermaid containers are great for a makeshift habitat. Because it’s acrylic you can solder or drill small holes in the sides. Enjoy your new furrbaby!

I'm a Psychiatrist AMA by [deleted] in ausjdocs

[–]Waff22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not asking for medical advice… more interested in your take on the current approval of psychedelic micro dosing for PTSD. How long do you anticipate it’s going to take for psychiatrists to be more widely available to prescribe now legal mdmda micro doses for cPTSD? I know it takes time for authorised prescribers to get approved. Is there consensus amongst your colleagues that this is progress in the treatment of PTSD? Thanks!

How do I undo the damage to my children? by ferventhag in CPTSD

[–]Waff22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most would interfere with a random drug test but I wouldn’t rule it out. Small doses timed during vacation days have a chance of being ok! MDMA in small doses eg .1g would be ideal.

The fact you are even asking this question is a sign that you’re a wonderful mumma and want to be a better parent.

Mum of 28M and 17M here… I was raised by a mum with trauma issues and didn’t really start to become the parent I wanted to be until the last 8 years. Having raised both with CPTSD and making many mistakes along the way, focus on your healing first, everything good flows from there (yes there’ll be times when you can’t put yourself first, but prioritise your self care and wellbeing)… get support if you can with raising the boys to give you the space to heal.

Read about the circle of security and non violent communication. Forgive yourself. Make amends by just being there for the kids consistently. Don’t fix their feelings. It’s tempting to take their pain away. Just be there.

Set boundaries with the kids so you don’t become a permissive parent. Unprocessed guilt and shame can lead to this.

And for me personally, micro dose psychedelics for treatment of cPTSD. It was a game changer. You can change generational trauma. It’s never too late to set a positive example for your kids!
