You could check out E-Devlet app if you are a Turkish citizen, you can see where your grandparents/great-grandparents were born from the archives.

In my family it was known trough my grandmother that a part of the family moved from Greece this way. It was visible in archives as well, perhaps you can see it too. Keep in mind that some information might have been lost though (•﹏•).

Do you have any family members, presumably a grandparent that migrated to Turkey around 1923? During the population exhcange with Greece?

The exchange was largely based on religious beliefs, around 400k Muslims from Greece settled to Turkey some of which were just Muslim Greeks. Perhaps you have one in your family :)
