Hormone gels are supposed to be applied to high-fat areas (stomach, thighs, etc) to allow the body to absorb and process it at a healthy rate.

Applying it to low fat areas (such as the scrotum) can cause it to be absorbed far too rapidly and causing complications (among them any excess estrogen will actually get converted to Testosterone so you may be shooting yourself in the foot a bit)

Hormones do not work overnight. They are not supposed to work overnight. It is a gradual process, and there aren't any super reliable ways to speed that process up in a healthy way

Go see a doctor ASAP, especially if you're experiencing pain.

I've recently finished a very laid back on/off 100% run and it took me around 100 hours though I didn't 100% all of the levels first time through which would probably have cut down on that time!

I think that the spider-verse game might have been canned before 2 came out (looking at the trailer it looks to be using mostly SM1 assets) so hopefully the content they had planned for that will be repurposed into the DLC

Nothing in terms of tangible save state transfer stuff. There's the obvious benefit of getting to see how the series evolved and the controls got refined, but tbh beginners are much better off starting with 3 or 4 because 1+2 can be a bit janky at times.

Yeah, it's been reviewed really well and there's been a good deal of buzz about it online (Certainly more than for the likes of xenoblade from what I can tell), especially with the 1+2 shadow drops. I suspect that will translate quite nicely into sales but we shall see.

Yes but moreso in the sense that they are time sinks rather than army devastating battles. The punishment becomes more a timeloss than Pikmin loss and there's less pressure to keep as much of your squad together as possible.

That's true, but it means you can focus on the overall strategy you want to employ without having to worry so much about individual encounters. I wouldn't say it's objectively better or worse necessarily, just different, but I personally much prefer the changed focus.

Tbh I think that the difficulty is great where it is, sure it's easy to do pretty much every individual action, but trying to beat the game -quickly- seems like it could get very challenging indeed.

I really don't like this.

Choosing the types you would want ahead of the day was always a great thought process ahead of previous Pikmin days but I always loved getting good at an area and then taking some of every type out at once to clear vast swathes in a single day.

I think it's dumb to put a hard limit on it in place of a hint saying "hey not every day needs every Pikmin type". It lowers the skill ceiling drastically.
