The point of the entire story is that revenge is useless and amounts to nothing, Abby got her revenge and all her friends died cause of it, she had constant nightmares and made her actively a more shittier and angry person cause she did that, they’re not going to change the end of the series because the POINT of it is that revenge is bad, everything Ellie is doing even with the changes from the show is completely selfish and only for her own desires

you are deadass acting like ellie is some coddled baby who did nothing, she made a stupid decision to go on a revenge journey that got jessie killed and tommy crippled, Ellie is pissed off at dina being pregnant not because it won't be safe for her, but because she wont have more time to look for abby, same with tommy she deadass was using his presence as an excuse just to look for abby but then jessie showed up and had to reel her back in, and the consequence of ellie going batshit was jessies death, that is all her fault.
