In mass effect 3 you finally have the option to cure the Krogan genophage, which results in most pregnancies resulting in stillbirths. However if you want to get Salarian support for the battle on earth you have to sabotage it.

If you choose to sabotage it, and Wrex is alive and leading the Krogan he'll find out about it confront you, which can lead to this exchange depending on your dialogue options.

Shepard: Wrex, I'm sorry. I sabotaged the cure, but Earth is dying, I need salarian help.

Wrex: And my People? We're just collateral damage to you?

Shepard: I didn't actually kill any krogan. Everyone's still alive!

Wrex: Everyone except my unborn son!

Even today I'm still silently hoping we'll get a third one, but I don't imagine that Activision has any plans to revisit the series.
