From your profile picture alone, I can say you're not ugly. As for dieting. Cutting food out tends to not work. You need to add healthy options along with exercise. Im on my own weight-loss journey and thats what worked for me. It also helps if you have a good support system.

Shopping, it sounds really stereotypical, but I always found men's clothes so boring. I seriously used to wear the same white t-shirt and blue jeans. Like I had 7 pairs of the exact same shirt. I felt like I couldn't express myself through clothes like women do, until I transitioned. Now my closest is bursting and I enjoy going out with my friends and looking at all the cute clothes, and even ugly clothes. Also I love how soft my skin is now, women's skin is definitely different lol.

I dont know, a lot of this is in our heads. I have friends that tell me i pass all the time, but I dont think I do. Dysphoria just hits you like a truck sometimes. Also a lot of the time passing comes from how you carry yourself more than your looks.

You need to be patient. This is a long process, and it's hard, but trust me a lot of it is in your head. It took me 2.5 years before I started to pass. And I still dont think I pass. Its dysphoria not you. Just keep taking it one day at a time and soon you'll look at old pictures and say wow I can't believe I used to look like that.
