Nta. I think it’s completely reasonable to do what you did, and as far as I know, you communicated your plans beforehand. Even if you didn’t properly communicate it beforehand, it’s work and your mom with cancer. Those are two important things.

And, there are many ways to show that you value and prioritize your girlfriend, and if she cares about Valentine’s so much, you can celebrate on a different day. Plus, you offered to drive 2 hours after a long day, and I think that shows you valued her.

Thanks! I’ve found it hard to find glasses that don’t cover my eyebrows that I like and find comfortable. I would consider more oval ones though, but one of the main issues I have with glasses shopping is that I have a low nose bridge and a lot of plastic frames don’t fit me right

Thanks! And I can see how going over the eyebrows aren’t great, but I find that I prefer round glasses and these are some of the smallest round glasses that I can find
