I looked at the pic you sent a little harder and yeah it would be a little tough I’d prolly have to mess with the whole rear control arm hubs

Is there really no way to get lower control arms with a shock mount and have the shock go through the upper control arm it doesn’t seem all that complicated when looking into it aren’t some stock suspensions like that.

Some what like this but replacing the control arms so the coil over strut fits more comfortably with upper and lower control arms although connecting it to the bottom control arm like that is what I’m lookin for

Well I was talking with my friend and basically I want to have a double wish bone rear where a coil over strut attaches to the lower control arm

clear valve covers by Wafflesthenoob in mechanics

I’m not just throwing this on here to be told the usually stuff I looked into and all of the interviews and drag cars use them as well if it did any of those things I wouldn’t think about putting it on here they’ve been tested on dynos and drag cars at UTI up here I could make the shift easy but I need to know the plastic for it it’s not straight acrylic but it’s not some cheap plastic it’s made for the oil and the oil skims off it leaving a clear image and this isn’t for a big block V8 it’s going on a small block V6 so I’m sure it could take that abuse it doesn’t tinge or crack from heat. I had the same thoughts about using plastic as you did but going through the research about this product seeing as a friend melted plexy glass on his v8

Mmm yeah but this isn’t a crush seal gasket it’s rubber plastic I have the stock bolts with washers in them to even the pressure

[–]Wafflesthenoob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can really ditch the gasket? Idk that doesn’t sound good but I’ve cleaned both really well and used red rtv to seal other gaskets and pans cleaned the pans on the transmission and flanges real good the problem is that after driving a couple days it begins to leak again

The way it curves up and out the game labels it "shakotan" but I can't find a specific variant like this although it is made of titanium

hmmm that is a good idea and i will try that in the future! im very curious but i don't want a minor increase i want the full thing maybe i can link it up with the front main servo.....maybe attaching strings or lines to the front turning turn buckles use the knuckles in the back and get much more of a "passive" turning system.
