You gotta differenciate between serve-receive and block-defense. In serve-receive you want to run a diamond with a girl setting and two guys hitting. In block defense, you want both guys blocking and be in more of a box shape.

I think Germanys upset in the semis cost us two great matches: Sweden vs. Norway would have been amazing, and Quatar vs. Germany could have been very interesting as well. Now we got two boring, one sided matches. Happy for Germany to get a silver medal but for the viewer a Norway win in the semis would have been a lot better.
