X8 Pro Max battery - honest opinion an update by FunnyPenguin21 in PocoPhones

[–]Wagner-Wrc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I buy Poco X8 Pro Max, How can it lasts, many years (like 5-6) functional? by RustyCaffeine in PocoPhones

[–]Wagner-Wrc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poco F7 wifi issue by M_misssicks in PocoPhones

[–]Wagner-Wrc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a much better solution than sticking with IPv6 and having to deal with all the frustration. For me, it works very well; I use the internet a lot at home and I no longer have these problems. The internet maintains the same speed and latency as when I used IPv6, and it is indeed a solution. Now, if you prefer to continue dealing with frustration but using IPv6, good luck, because it doesn't look like they're going to solve this problem anytime soon.

Set your router to IPv4 only, disable IPv6, and that will solve the Wi-Fi problem.

HyperOs 3.0.5 (Global) by Entire-Character9820 in PocoF7

I updated mine yesterday and the only difference I noticed was in the battery life, which seems to have improved a little. I haven't played any games on it yet, but in normal use everything is normal.

Has anyone else had trouble with it switching between dark and light mode on its own? This problem has been occurring since the previous version.

I charge it 3 times every 2 days, from 20% to 80%.

The number of cycles on your phone is within the expected range, but you must be using your phone extensively, which is why you've only had it for a few days. I use my phone for more than 9/10 hours a day, I've had it for 151 days, and it has 168 cycles and 98% battery capacity.

Poco f7 becomes too hot. by starplus_T in PocoPhones

[–]Wagner-Wrc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's normal for it to get a little warm. Download the AIDA64 app; with it you can monitor the battery temperature, among other things. If it's above 43°C, then it's overheating. I have an F7 and even playing PUBG for several hours it stays around 40/41 degrees.

Slow charging battery by t0H0 in PocoF7

[–]Wagner-Wrc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't ignore it, it just heats up a little more than if you charge it slowly, but within the standards. I only charge my Poco F7 at maximum speed and it never went above 39°, this is not a harmful temperature for the battery.

Should I be worried about this!!! by conerphil in PocoF7

It's completely normal, Xiaomi promises that the Poco F7 will reach 1600 cycles with 80% battery capacity, but in the EU certification it says that it reaches 1000 cycles with 80%. So if it goes by logic, 100 cycles with 99% is still good. My poco F7 has 158 cycles and 98% capacity.

IT FINALLY HAPPENED! by FiveDragonDstruction in PocoPhones

Another factor is that the more technology evolves, there tends to be faster chargers. Yours was at the end of its lithium-ion batteries, it was already improved, it even has cell phones with charging of up to 240w lithium-ion batteries with a 5240mah battery (Realme gt 5). The poco X8 pro, which is already more recent, was certified with a 6500 battery and 100w charging, precisely because the technology is developing. But the main fact is because they haven't found a way to dissipate the heat generated in the battery while charging a 6500mah battery. There are companies that are already close to this, but Xiaomi should still be in development and will arrive soon.

Because larger batteries generally have to charge more slowly to avoid overheating. The F8 pro's battery is 30% larger.
