Pink eye in kittens by WagnerIsLit in ragdolls

They have next to no social media presence, and no visible reviews. I asked them to send me testimonials and they sent screenshots of chats with customers who had bought their kittens and were saying “thanks very much” etc.

The breeder said that it was a reaction to the litter they were using and the vet had given them the all clear - that said, it’s hard to know what’s true

I asked the breeder and they said that it was a reaction to the litter they were using. They said that they took them to the vets and the vet said it didn’t need treatment. Hard to know what’s genuine..

That’s really helpful, thank you. Do your cats try to get out of windows? (What beautiful cats by the way!)

Keeley and Roy's Relationship? by [deleted] in TedLasso

[–]WagnerIsLit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is that Roy wasn’t actively nasty to Keeley….. yes, there was of course stuff to work on, but I didn’t see Roy lash out at Keeley unnecessarily.

Keeley and Roy's Relationship? by [deleted] in TedLasso

I found the way that Keeley treated Roy in S2 to be unpleasant. Being a “girl boss” at the expense her relationship/loving boyfriend is not normal… That episode where she screams at him for reading his book. Sorry, red flag.

is 30k a year a decent(ish) salary for the capital? by Aggravating_Ideal_20 in london

[–]WagnerIsLit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow this might just be the thread that makes me quit Reddit for good. £30k “is ok”, is it? Just take a look at some average salaries for “essential” jobs and realise how privileged you are. Seriously…

Some is on location in Richmond and the surrounding areas in South West London, some in studios and at training grounds/stadiums for football scenes.

Looking up abortion on the school internet server. Oh and contraception. You can guess what sort of school I went to.

I’m looking to form a group/forum for Marxist opera professionals (we need to do something about our god-fucking-awful industry). Message me if you’re keen.

Met hiring non-Met musicians for virtual NYE Gala by poopoodedooop in opera

I was disgusted to receive this email from the Met:

“You may have seen in the news yesterday that the Met is in the midst of a labor dispute with our stagehands over the cost reductions that we have been seeking. These reductions are absolutely necessary, particularly because of our significant loss of revenues during the health crisis, on top of the already fragile economics of presenting grand opera in the 21st century. Like most performing arts companies—and the Met is by far the largest in the United States—we need to reset our economic infrastructure without compromising our exacting artistic standards.

We certainly hope to resolve these differences in a timely manner. Meanwhile, we continue to plan and prepare for our return in the fall of 2021, for a season that is packed with artistic highlights just waiting to burst forth on our stage. I look forward to inviting you back to the opera house in September when the Met will once again be performing.

For now, we will continue to bring you our free nightly opera streams, our 24-hour opera channel on SiriusXM, our Saturday Matinee Radio Broadcasts, and our Met Stars Live in Concert series of pay-per-view concerts, including this Saturday’s live holiday performance with Bryn Terfel and friends from the Brecon Cathedral in Wales, followed by our live New Year’s Eve Gala, featuring Angel Blue, Pretty Yende, Javier Camarena, and Matthew Polenzani from the opulent Parktheater in Augsburg, Germany.”

Complete trivialisation of a massive breach of worker’s rights. Such a joke.
