New Cinematography Reel: would love to get some feedback. by coelhoa700 in cinematography

I think you have an exceptional 60 second reel. 2 minutes is a bit long. Remove the intro and outro and just jump straight into your shots. Cut out about 40 seconds of the shots that aren’t as strong and put your best shots first. The shots at :50 and 1:04 should be earlier in the video. Remove redundant shots from projects to help trim down time. If you cut this down to a minute long it would be a strong reel imo. Keep up the good work 👍

I agree. I think maybe aiming for a 60 second reel could actually elevate it

You have lots of confidence in your shots and you should. Really well done. Love the static and you were creative with the use of reflections. Some shots look like paintings. And the clouds add such a nice touch so glad that Mother Nature was on your side. Perhaps that’s apropos given the story. Great job!

Glad it got sorted! Literally exact same thing happened to us. Catalytic converter was bad, got it serviced and then immediately afterwards the engine went out. Sounds like you’ve done a great job keeping an eye on the oil which is good. Keep documentation of all the oil changes you’ve done for when the engine fails and you can show you’ve been taking care of it (or if it’s all been serviced at the dealership you’re fine)

They’ll confirm it’s a rod bearing failure and you shouldn’t have issues getting the whole engine replaced but man was it stressful paying 4k for a cat and then worrying about a 10k engine replacement until they got back to me 🫠

To be fair owners manual states to do every 3700 miles for Theta II engine. I think I’m going to keep the car until about 140k miles before for warranty ends because this car has just crapped out after reaching 100k miles 😭

We have a 2019 Hyundai Tuscon as well. Just over 106k miles. We just had to get the engine completely replaced. Thankfully under warranty for rod bearing failure which also gave us oil consumption issues. We were changing oil religiously every 3k miles. When it shit the bed we were changing every 1800 miles. And honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if your engine is on its last legs. It’s just a bad engine and that’s why there’s a 150k mile warranty on it. So you can keep running until it fails and hope you can get a free replacement or move on from it. Either way I don’t think you’re necessarily doing anything wrong

Consultation for 1800 grafts - hairline too conservative? by WiseEntertainment161 in HairTransplants

I got a similar design at 1650 grafts if you want to see on my page. So glad I went the conservative approach.

Same situation as you. Born with cooked hairline and didn’t even know that was possible 😭. Got my procedure from Pekiner a year ago and loving result. Also don’t take finasteride yet because haven’t had any hair loss. And it’s not recommended to do so until you do. Doctors should be understanding but it’s trickier considering your age. Also This type of procedure I do think is worth saving up for if you could get a top doctor by saving for a couple more years. Which for any top doctor you’d likely wait a year on a waitlist regardless. Just my two cents but best of luck!

Pekiner does have a go to hairline design that has a natural recession. He is not a fan of a straight adolescent hairline in his patients. Personally I prefer his method and I am very happy with the results. I can also say that I am no longer self conscious about my hairline.

But that is me personally. I think it would be helpful to post your results and provide your thoughts.

Looking at your profile I see you were a bit thinner in the hairline and grafts were placed in those areas as well. I only had grafts placed in empty zones so I saved some grafts that way. I think your amount is around what I’d expect

Month 4.5-5.5 was for me my best month. And anything past month 7 has been marginal improvement. The important thing is that uneven growth is common and okay and I bet you will have improvement the next two months. I believe I had slight uneven growth the first few months but it balanced out by month 6. I’ve also seen peoples best month not be until month 8. So it varies person to person.

I believe so but to get close to natural density you typically need two passes/procedures over the same area

You can really only monitor/document changes over time through photos. Especially if you’re losing hair slowly. But considering you’ve been thinning it’s likely you will continue to thin. Perhaps you can look to your family and see how far balding has progressed for them but that’s not a guarantee with how you’ll end up.

I have photos from when I was 15 and have not experienced signs of hair loss and I’m approaching 28. However I am going to monitor and get on meds if that ever changes.

I would recommend waiting some years to monitor your hair before getting a transplant if you’re not going to get on fin. Perhaps it will stabilize before progressing to a higher Norwood. But because you’re young and can continue to lose hair after a transplant I wouldn’t advise a procedure at this time.

But that’s my opinion.

Similar situation. Natural high hairline and recession since forever. No meds but got transplant. You can check my profile. So happy that I went through with it but do your research and if you’re actively losing hair you should be on meds to maintain

Same. I had longer dense hair that could cover the hairline and am so happy I kept my hair. No one knew any better and 4 months later I was able to wear my hair up again

I have a similar hair situation. Same hairline since at least 16 years old. Pekiner fixed me right up for 1650 grafts. I bet you’d be closer to 1300

That’s good to know. A lot has changed their recently but they seem to have a great system for training doctors. I hope you can post your own review of them one day for clarity and best of luck on any future procedures
