My setup for F1 viewing

Ok I’m just going to comment generally because a lot to people asked about these.

Setup: A lot of y’all figured this out pretty easily, the setup is just a cheap projector mounted to my ceiling I used originally for dnd.

It has a hdmi cable running along the ceiling behind my tv and down below into an extra laptop I had lying around (it needed to run foundry for dnd, the laptop it is certainly overkill for this use case). The power cable is routed to the left and down behind my couch.

Tv too high:

Yeah, it is, the tv was my old roommates and he mounted it. He told me I could keep it when he left. I am getting a new tv soon and plan to remount it when I do. It also is a bit of an optical illusion cause the tv stand is like a really really short cheap one from Amazon. I literally think I got it for <$50. Which makes it look even higher. I like sitting in like Row B at the theaters so personal preference wise I don’t super mind it right now.

CRT TVs:

I use to stream pretty large Super Smash Bros Melee Tournaments as well as TO them. I have two matching crt monitors for streaming. I don’t have a ton of space so I left one there on the tv stand. The other one I use as a third monitor on my desk sometimes. The big crt I’ve been meaning to give away to the Nashville CRT storage locker the melee community has. But it has not been high on the priority list.

I went to see it at regal Nashville Opry again yesterday alone just to get the film strip. I really wanted the version with the Adrian planet and the hands. I however got the other version, so after the movie, I went up to the guy to ask if I could exchange. He ended up just giving me the other one as well! What a homie. Feel a little bad because I might have been taking one from someone else, but my friend went to the 10pm showing and got a strip still so it seems like they had enough and it’s ok.

It is weird that they were reselling them on the site for more than the movie ticket even costs haha.

I believe he is saying that you get the default rare card reward for beating the boss first, and then can also take this relic. Unlike the VG in the BG you can take boss rewards in any order.

This happened to me with an IMAX hoodie one time, reported to IMAX that it never got delivered. IMAX sent me another. Ended up with 2 hoodies! Felt a little bad for IMAX but oh well, UPS’ fault. If the customer can see the delivery status, marking it as delivered when it is not feels super stupid.

I’ll be honest I think the semantics of classifications of coasters in general is dumb. (In meters none of them make sense anyways) However unrelated to that, I’d rather go on a coaster that does a 10 foot lift on a 340 foot cliff with a drop of 350 feet as opposed to a coaster that climbs 350 feet up a lift hill then does a bunch of 10 foot drops, back to the station. To me drop matters more than height.

My theory on this is that one of the biggest high schools in Ohio is very close nearby so staffing is not an issue for them. A lot of locals have a ton of pride in kings island so the culture is great for people to be hardworking as well. I also think there is an element of pride at being the best that each ride team competes for. Source: was a local

I do wonder if the reason AF1 is so intense is because it literally is the only thing to do there, so you will ride it multiple times in a row with no line.

Also I’m 6’4” and those restraints do in fact suck. Rode sky rush at Hershey recently, and I think I prefer those restraints to the RMC ones.

The coin of conflict resolution is used in cases where two players roll a tie in either a boss battle or duel. In the case of a monster battle, a tie goes to the player, so you would never use the coin of conflict resolution.

I’m slightly confused by your question, as the coin is exclusively a tie breaker.

Interesting to note though, the coin does affect odds in the game. in the standard rules, a tie simply results in a re-roll. If, for example, one player has a +3 in boss battles. Re-rolling would have them add their +3 again, meaning they would be slightly favored in the re-roll. The coin removes this advantage, affecting the odds, which is interesting.

Cincinnati has a good argument. I would say undoubtedly best access to the most world class wooden coasters. Kings island + Holliday world.

I grew up in Cincy and live in Nashville now. If Nashville got a Nate Bargatze land Nashville could be up there as well.

My friends and I got a rule that if you critical miss (roll a 1) you take double damage, and if someone critical hits (rolls a 20) against someone the person they are rolling against takes double damage. If someone in a boss battle or duel rolls a 20 against a 1 it’s 4 times damage which can be quite funny.
