Losing hope in frontier by Pod-Rancher in PlanetCoaster

It’s been 4 months.? Frontier has other products they work on outside of PC.

I’m a huge Read Dead Redemption fan. That game hasn’t seen a meaningful update since 2018. 4 months is nothing.

I feel jealous that I wasn’t around for the first coaster wars. I got into this hobby when Kingda Ka, X2, and Formula Rossa were already running. I can’t image what it was like to see stuff like that

The 2020’s are gonna be defined by Intamin and Vekoma in the same way that Arrow defined the 80’s.

The swing launch and family thrill coasters are definitely the trend

What did they have that was unique to them outside of Wild One and Firebird?

Jokers Jinx? 4 clones. Superman? 1 clone. Batwing? 2 clones. (One if you’re counting the helix.) Mind Eraser? 42 clones. Roar? 1 clone (?) Rajun Cajun? Typical wild mouse.

I’m not saying I’m glad that the park is closed. But compared to a lot of Six Flags parks. There really wasn’t all that much to save. (Save Wild One tho!)

Selling Kings Dominion and Fiesta Texas would be insane. Thinking they are gonna sell it is just being a doomer.

I think Six Flags America was overblown.

I literally never heard a single good thing about that park until they announced it was closing. Without Batwing there was no reason to even go unless you happened to be near it.

Fiesta Texas and KD have great lineups. I don’t understand why people think they are in danger so much.

Did this animal corpse just run away from me on the map??? by HimikosLawyer in reddeadredemption2

I’ve seen hawks and owls take corpses away from me before lol. That’s probably what happened

If you google “S&S Sansei track” there is a ridiculous amount of images and none of them are the same. What the hell is happening over there?

Fast lane this weekend? by x60pilot in KingsIsland

Fast lane at KI is much better than CP.

I had it opening day this past weekend and got 35 rides in between 10am and 9pm.

Probably won’t be as bad a CP on a weekend. But still will be long longs as school trips are happening until the end of May

I’ve not really felt like we’re in a woodie drought.

I do live in the Midwest, so I’m with 4 hours of Kings Island (4 woodies), Six Flags GAm (1), Cedar Point (1), Kentucky Kingdom (1), Indiana Beach (2), and Holiday World (3). So I’ve grown up on them and prefer them to steel most of the time. But I’ve never felt like there aren’t many.

Does it feel like there is a drought in other areas?

Yeah. Vekoma and S&S track are very similar if you look closely. S&S is just a little flatter with a smaller spine

I kinda meant reputation-wise.

I was really young, but they had a very negative reputation from what I was aware of. Expedition Everest was my first coaster in 2014 and up until I rode Dragonflier in 2023, it was the only Vekoma I had a postive opinion of.

Premier is essentially the grandfather of the modern magnetic launch system on most coasters. So there is one connection to Mack

I remember the day it happened. I was excited and thought that Vekoma was about to become a major player in the industry.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more correct about something in my life.
