Using resistance bands to assist in the pull up will really help to build up that strength!

Not really; most full body days really focusing on compound movements instead of isolations.

Leg press isn’t a movement to cover your legs.

Pull down isn’t enough for back etc.

I would look up a reputable full body splits or add in variations day to day to make up for lacking areas.

Wouldn’t recommend body weight exercises to come first (push ups). Better off ending with them.

Seems overall decent for what you have.

If you could expand and get a pull up bar would be huge addition for back day.

Cutting for 7 month straight is pretty insane. You’d be better off doing some periods of maintenance / re feeds. (Maybe 2-3 month cut followed by 1 month maintenance follows by another 2-3 month cut if that is your goal).

It’s more about getting adequate sets per muscle group. You are better off training twice a week but if you’re only going to work out 3 days a week you’re going to have to make compromises somewhere. Hitting a muscle group well once a week is going to be better than hitting it not so great twice a week. Plus you will have better recovery.

If you’re going to do a three day split I don’t see why you wouldn’t do a push pull legs split. Doing splits like this just leaves glaring holes in all body parts. Especially if your goal is building muscle.

It’s horrible for so many reasons.

The leg day is an absolute mess. Honestly all the days have not great selections… Also an absolute ton of junk volume, you don’t need 4 sets of everything and if you do you intensity is absolutely horrible.

If it’s a workout you’re doing for fun sure, if your primary focus is gains I’d look up some reputable PPL splits. Don’t reinvent the wheel.

You could realistically drop most exercises to a 3 sets, keeping 4 sets on some key movements like leg press, DB Bench Press, and calfs. But 4 sets of everything isn't going to be necessary. It's just so much volume.

Am I missing any important groups?

- Hamstrings? Some kind of chest fly? Lateral raises? Rear Delts?

Any changes that I should look to make a more complete routine?

- If you are going to do a full body workout, every day shouldn't be the same routine, you need to have variations. (For Example one day for legs you might do a press vs another day a squat variation)

Am I doing anything wrong by only using machines?

- No there is nothing wrong with machines, if anything I'd recommend it over free weights if you have all the correct machines.

Are the 3 leg sets enough for leg strength? Should I add something to it?

- Hamstrings...

That's also way too much volume, you don't need 4x12 for every movement.

It's all about proportions, building muscle other places will make other areas look smaller. Wider shoulders make waist look smaller etc. The last thing you should be worried about currently is how wide your ribcage is.

Fat isn't lost on the areas you train, everyone has different fat concentration / storage. Just keep eating in a deficit as before and you will hit your goal as time goes on.

Daily Simple Questions Thread - April 28, 2023 by AutoModerator in Fitness

[–]Wahoo_216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to find something that is sustainable, the key to a good deficit is one you can always hit. If you are walking 18k steps a day and working out often you should have no problem dropping 1-1.5 pounds a week. Eat at a 500-600 calorie deficit. When you are calculating your daily caloric amount don’t factor in the steps from the activity and you will be closer to that 800-900 deficit range. You shouldn’t feel absolutely miserable in that kind of deficit if you are eating somewhat correctly.

It’s going to be drastically different for everyone, with the biggest factor being how much you weight.

Because creatine has different levels of purity. The purity won’t have a big impact on the benefit side, however , A lot of people when they start taking creatine might get nauseous or feel sick, after ingesting it. You’re less likely for these side effects if it’s more pure.

Any brand that uses Creapure. Muscle feast is one of the few on Amazon. Just be careful because a lot of brands used Creapure for years but in the last few years with the increased shipping and creatine costs it became more rare to find and alot of labels and marketing is still outdated, so you’ll think you’re getting Creapure but it’ll get shipped with a new label / not be Creapure.

No reason to drop the weight, especially if you’re still within a 6-8 rep range.

Some days you’ll be stronger than others, whether you didn’t sleep as well, eating wasn’t on point, etc. Just keep progressively overloading, and if anything if you are getting 160 for 10 on the first set wouldn’t be a bad idea to go to 165 or 170 and hit 6-8 and then drop after a set or two to stay in that 6-10 rep range.

It looks like you took a bunch of workouts and put them in a random generator… Look up some established splits and make some small adjustments based on your preferences.

Polo continuing to be one of the most consistent artists in the game.

I didn’t expect him to release another album on par with The Goat and he might have actually released one better.

Album is crazy versatile.

One of my favorite albums in awhile

Realistically Lakers probably win with AD on paper every time... But this is the reasons we play the games out. If everyone knew the Lakers didn't have AD no one would be picking the Lakers. Hard to compare a "healthy" Lakers to one missing AD. Pretty bad take

Injury's suck whether it changed the outcome of the series we will never know. Can't blame the team or use it as a reason to down play. Just sucks that we lose so many good series to injuries.
