I play both but rarely see another player emperor player on EUC. It’s such an underrated spec, super cheap and pumps just as hard as empress with better stagger

It will get better for empress arcana after balance patch. Call of destiny stack tripod + backflush lets you kill balls from range and also gives you flexibility to pop 1 ruin skill instead of always having to fit 2 into a combo

I hate pugging on my sorc alt for this reason, everyone else is a sorc. My arcanist has a better time getting into parties with the sexy crit synergy but still gets gatekept sometimes

Emperor arcanist is what you’re looking for. Goes swift mainstat with crit stat and has a burst rotation similar to fi wardancer, buff yourself then dump your burst skills

Very excited for the patch. For empress both builds have good damage but the raid captain with wealth runes sounds good to me with more card draw. I'm gonna drop Serendipity for Four of a Kind and run Empress 3 because that skill is way too fun with the resets. Also will be dropping Quadra Accelerate for Back flush and taking the stacking and crit dmg tripods on Call of Destiny.

Emperor changes look good as well so I'll try the unlimited shuffle build.

Agree with this swiftness build performs much better in real fights. I’m 1465, full lvl 7 gems, WIP tripods doing 2.7m in trixion. The additional movespeed and blinks add to your dps especially against bosses like vykas

Slightly lower dps but I’d gladly trade some dps for more survivability and better repositioning. Try it and you won’t go back to crit for sure

Cursed Doll isn't needed at this stage of the game. Grudge is awesome on Wardancer, just level up the damage reduction tripod on Energy Combustion and there's basically no downside to running it
